Vl opened early as they were letting guests in at 845. Queues immediately went to vl only instead of standby initially ( like they did yesterday)

Man that was so intense getting the VL lol!!! Has anyone had an issue of a line taking to long that you missed the other house’s window?

So anyway...

I think as it stands now, the Testing Weekend has been a success. Yes, there were some hiccups and certain things should be adjusted, but otherwise - a great job today. Special thanks to all the TMs and actors who did outstanding work.

Reading quite a bit of this so far today despite yesterday seeming manageable as an outsider:

Yes, I did, on Friday. However, this is not an accurate scenario of what could happen this weekend.

I had a 15-minute window for both houses (preview), but thankfully the team members let me enter the Bride queue late (I did TF first, and it was a pretty long wait).

I'm really happy for everyone who gets a chance to enjoy these!

You may not be able to tell through my exterior bitter jealously, but I am happy for you! :p

NYS haunts have started opening up too and I've felt very safe at the 1 I've attended so far, so I'll at least get my fix here around home!

So, do we think another weekend is happening? Would they do any sort of announcement about it, or just stay quiet?

I imagine there will be a review of how this weekend went and a decision made early this week. From what I saw they will go ahead plus maybe add another house or two.

Oddly I found Brides to be much better than Tooth Fairy for me. Maybe because I went to Knott’s and cant help but compare and I appreciated Knotts more? If one/two more houses open up I would go and do it again otherwise if just same two I had a great time and enjoyed it but wouldnt go out of my way to make it happen again. Was a fun experience and happy I had it, very grateful was a lot of fun. Any HHN fix is great in my books. Plexiglass really didnt bother me at all was surprised

Let's see, all available hotel rooms sold out. Park attendance way up. And the test wasn't a complete cluster.

I expect an announcement Monday, Tuesday at the latest.

I wonder how much revenue per visitor is up. Food and bev must’ve been higher with people waiting for their slot in the virtual line. Either way, I’m glad to hear the testing was a success.

They are missing out on the F&B. The lines are long, they could double the staff and locations and still not satisfy demand.

Some observations
Plexiglas's was not that big a distraction as I feared.
Spacers in the houses with the white wands kept people spaced and moving
It was HHN lite but was great fun
For a testing weekend it went well with few hitches. Mainly the VQ system on saturday
They should add a couple more houses and upcharge to offset the cost
We felt totally safe in the parks and houses
All in all, Great fun

Universal Studios Florida has transformed Cafe La Bamba into a Skeleton Bar for the Halloween Season. Located in the middle of a haunted walk-through, the bar offers 3 specialty-drinks.

The "jacked up" mac and cheese was awesome. My new pizza fries.
