Something to bring up, I thought Murdy only has the Twitter account has his handle, where as the YouTube and Facebook outlets are done via by the USH Social Media teams.

Oh wow I totally misread that. I completely missed the official comment. That sounds promising! Maybe we are getting It. It would seem weird to replace It with Alien when there would be two alien houses with the Thing.

I know It is technically an alien movie, but it’s not as obvious haha.

I’m pretty sure the people who run the YouTube account don’t know what the lineup is, so there’s no reason to read anything into that comment

Alien was rumored for Orlando.

I don't follow Orlando, but it seems to be coming from their end. IT was heavily rumoured for a while, but now it seems people over there are convinced it's not coming / might not come.

Again, I'm hesitant to think that even IF Orlando did "lose" IT, that it would also affect us. I'm just waiting for announcements and let them have their debates about potential original mazes.

They never really talk about Tram until usually around the time tickets go on sale which is usually August. So I think we will see a bit of talk about the Cult Zone at Monsterpaloooza.

Too many to post but John is on a Twitter string with song titles that together relate to a maze.
This is the same maze that he has been dropping hints about.
So far all the songs were released on 1984.

The songs: Harborcoat - REM off the Album
Reel Around the Fountain - The Smiths
Bad - U2
The Killing Moon - Echo & The Bunnymen
Rattlesnakes - Lloyd Cole
My Hometown - Bruce Springsteen

Sometimes I really love working from home.

If we’re talking about horror films released in 1984, there are two that would seem VERY Murdy of him to do: NoES and F13. I hope it’s neither because both have been done to death. Children of the Corn is the other one that’s a remote possibility. The other ones are way too obscure to bother with.

Speaking of which Terror in the Aisles was released in 1984.

NoES is already confirmed to not show up for this year, and IIRC Friday the 13th is Paramount owned. I think this connects to The Thing.

Edit - Just a thought but couldn’t Terror in the Aisles also be a subtle nod to Bride of Frankenstein and Frankenstein’s Monster(husband and wife, aisle)? Seems far fetched but also sort of a Murdy like connection

I think rather then being a film released in 1984, that it is a film he saw in 1984.

In looking through the some of the lyrics some seem to lend themselves to a monster interpretation as well. Killing Moon - Wolfman, Bad - Vampire. It is loose and I don't really believe it myself but 1984 seems to obvious for John.

I think this might line up with Thing since that property seems to fit all of the other clues Murdy’s given on “Terror in the Aisles”

Harborcoat I am getting a Black Lagoon vibe but Reel Around the Fountain is clearly about well, just google the lyrics.

EDIT: Latest song is Rattlesnakes - Tori Amos which was released in 2001, so there goes the 1984 connection.
EDIT the EDIT: I never knew that the Tori Amos song was a cover of a song by Lloyd Cole released in, yup, 1984

Could be UCM, all of it, could be IT. There are connections; lots of talk about loss of innocence, Blue moons (Pennywise appeared to the bully in a blue moon), the wolfman, hometowns, raining, etc. IT feels like a good "3rd" announcement, a big announcement with a breather for AHS or another expected property in between it and the mega-announcement of Stranger Things.

But I'm gonna go with the Thing for now, just because IT is way, way, way too obvious. Don't even know why beyond the obvious Terror in the Aisles connection.
