Absolutely. I don't know what else it could be? It doesn't fit anything related to the IPs already announced and it seems to fit the hype used for icons in the past. It wouldn't make since for them to be pushing it for any of the other houses either when all of the Burger King and Publix ads are already showing the IPs will be the main push for advertising this year.

Definitely! I'm stoked to be getting some original stuff pushed out, especially an icon, after all of the original bleak rumors. I can't wait to see what's in store this year.

Okay, so, listening to Inside the Magic's capture of the message, it definitely sounds like "You cannot escape centuries of hate"

Zones and Houses have a longer history of matching up than we're willing to believe. For whatever reason in 2010 Universal decided to claim that Zombie Gras was the first ScareZone to ever correspond with a house. Right? WRONG.

2005: Blood Thunder Alley to Demon Cantina.
2007: Texas Chainsaw Massacre had Chainsaw Wielding guys outside the scarezone themed to TCM.
2008: Zombies outside of Dead Exposure. Body Collectors outside of house. Chainsaws outside of Doomsday. Fractured Tales outside Scary Tales.

It would make sense to have a zombie scarezone correspond with Walking Dead BUT I don't think the General Population is going to recognize the difference. If you're marketing the event largely as TWD and then you have a zombie scarezone everyone is just going to assume it is TWD.

I just listened to the phone call. I agree with Skip, it sounds like "centuries of hate" towards the end of the phrase. Very chilling. If this is really an icon, then I am very intrigued.

Now I need to go warm up, because I'm getting chills and my hair is standing on end. :wave:

Received another phone call. This time there was wolf howls. Same demonic voice "You're scared of the unkown, these creatures of the dark." He says something else which sounds like "You should be". Afterwords, some monster growls are heard and then a whisper "All will be revealed soon, HHN".

So there's been stuff on Twitter saying it sounds like Fear, Nightmare, or Darkness.

Could be Fear, since Uni dug up something, like a lantern. Could be Nightmare as well, since he is of demonic origin, and there could be an entirely new item associated with him bringing "all your nightmares to life".

I don't about the others, but it definitely has a similar voice to Fear. Compare the calls to this:

If it were to be his return, I'd be a bit confused. I may be wrong, but it seems like most people disliked Fear as an icon. Why would they want to bring him back in that case? It makes since to bring back fan-favorites like Jack, the Director, etc, but Fear seems like an odd return.

Maybe A&D wants to give Fear an opportunity to shine? With the "war" storyline that's apparently coming, it could make a lot of sense.

Is Nightmare or Darkness the big red dude with the giant horns? I wouldn't mind seeing him come back. Fear though, meh. The video of just his mouth was cool but seeing the entire Fear character was stupid in my opinion, def. not one of my favorites.
