Yeah it does!!!! I love Jimmy's videos they are insanely informative and fun to watch, the dude is a total ham. His cryptic performances kill me everytime

But yeah it was a weird horror fad that's died pretty fast. Old ladies are terrifying and if universal made a better backstory to the storyteller she'd be Bloody Mary in terms of a unforgettable icon, too bad all I know about her is that she lives in the country and has a thing for tounges

Can someone please suggest a Dr Jimmy video for me to start with? I've tried watching a handful from past years, but a) none of his vague predictions that I've seen have actually proved accurate, and b) his slooooooow delivery means I never make it to the end of one of his videos.
I had assumed that he was some elaborate parody in-joke designed to spread misinformation and mock obsessive HHN fans...

well it depends what year you are interested in, I really like his series of reflections of fear including a long video on mary's backstory. He is a acquired taste, I find myself skipping many minutes of his older videos because he does backtrack alot or gets too carried away. His comments are pretty reliable too but he does that April fools joke every year that just confuses everybody, the cryptic comments/performances are legit and he does prove them once the houses are out. There are allegedly two gargoyles (possibly recycled from Gothic) sitting behind the Disaster queue. Construction on the facade has already started and from what I have heard, its already taller and more prominent than most Disaster queue houses (of course, its still nothing more than black plywood). I trust what I hear about whats back there, but theres no guarantee the props are for HHN. But at the same time that would be a strange place to put them if not...

I have my hopes for this one, disaster queue houses have almost become soundstage levels when it comes to details. By the looks of it it's gonna be a original house and if it's a sequel to gothic I can't complain at all

Try deeper... like, to the point of WHUH? There are at least two coming that will leave people wondering what marketing was thinking.

That is where they store the gargoyles. They are normally housed in the Disaster Queue, but due to HHN Construction, they have them sitting just outside the queue. Same place they were last year, until they used them for Legendary Truth.

Damn now I'm excited, I love obscure stuff. In your opinion do you see these houses being awesome or questionable based on the source material alone?

I heard that too and I'm kinda worried. Confusing house layouts suck and if this is the 3D house then my god. Hopefully it's not to hard to see where you are going and the environment isn't too Samey per say

I'm 50/50 on 3D houses. Alice Cooper Goes to Hell at Hollywood in 2012 was awesome. I hated Afterlife last year. It felt like it was 3 minutes of having a flashlight shined in my face. I've never been more disoriented in my life.

I'm cool with 3D houses as long as they don't give me a headache or piss me off. And I'm with Holmes here, think the 3D house will be in a sprung tent but since a ton of weird rumors came pointing to the disaster queue I had to mention it. Here's hoping that killer klownz will be the 3D house this year. The sets alone would make it a contender for house of the year
