Interestingly enough, what was first designed as a Bioshock house became "Havoc: Dogs of War" after the rights weren't able to be secured. This is during the same time that Universal was excited to make a Bioshock movie with Gore Verbinski directing, but eventually Ken Levine, who in the contract had Rowling-level control, pulled the rights because Universal didn't want to devote more than $75 million to the budget. The environments for the house were already under construction, but were then adapted to the sort of prison/sewer theme that ended up as "Havoc".
Interstellar Terror is another example of a licensed house not getting the rights - it was planned as a Dead Space house until July of that year, when the rights weren't secured and it was decided to make it generic.
I've heard rumblings of a video game house this year. Something from the house of Sonic.
Edit: Read through the thread. No one has guessed it but they've come close.
