There will never be another pop culture parody show. Legal killed it.
I never saw a year where it didn't draw significant crowds throughout the event, usually filling FFL to capacity for its mid-evening shows. Maybe not your personal cup of tea, but it never "bombed."
Honestly the event needs an popular attraction in that venue; it pulls guests off the streets (and out of house lines) for a significant chunk of the night. And HHN has no singular identity. Rated R gore, creepy gothic vibes, sophomoric dark humor. sexy people dancing--the houses and streets have always been a hodge-podge. But at the end of the night, it's a party, and B&T fit that party vibe to a tee.
