Yep, that’s why I jumped around calling it seaside or Dead Man’s Wharf.

It’s also why my clue for it was more focused on, what I believe is, the more important/unique element of the house.

And if that's the case, it's pretty cool to imagine what it could be. Though I also wonder if that house will be the one in its own soundstage due to that element.

While true, there's just always something magical about going on opening night. Seeing all the fans and locals excited to see their favorite Halloween event back, all the scareactors excited to start doing what they do best again... Sure, there are always still quite a few hiccups opening weekend, but it's still fun nonetheless.

Love Opening Weekend/Night but the biggest problem for that is crowds since everyone wants to do everything and see every show and I usually end up being exhausted after a while and don't stay till closing. It feels much more relaxed the second and third HHN week

Any night of HHN is a good night of HHN, but have to agree with the overall vibes of opening weekend. Especially last year, even with the wet t-shirt contest the Puppet queue became, it was a wet t-shirt party everyone was happy to be a part of just because HHN was happening.

As for traditional Halloween creatures/link to Wicked Growth how about Witches? A good O.G. coven house that isn't American Horror Story Coven. That room was definitely a highlight in WG last year aesthetically.

If anyone remembers Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail last year, you might remember Captain’s Fury. Setting wise, it reminds of the rumored house labeled as Dead Man’s Wharf. There was one room that was very impressive in particular in Captain’s Fury where they used fog, seaside facades, and a fake bridge to simulate a vast harbor. I hope something that impressive with a HHN budget can be adapted in the rumored seaside house. Conceptually and just by the name alone, this rumored house has a lot of potential.

Here’s a photo from that scene at Sir Henry’s I am referring to:

I hontestly am hoping for a pirate theme for this “seaside village” house. Either that or a 1000 leagues under the sea style steampunk

I also was recently at a pirate mini golf in Orlando and they had a pretty good seaside pirate village they made before you actually go into the golf.

I’m hoping for something like this or a nautical steampunk type theme. But honestly, after recently watching “The Lighthouse” with Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe, it makes me SO exited for anything “seaside” themed at all.

I'm a Newby here looking at ticketing options. Have a plan, hotel
, flights booked for Sept 8-11. My question is tickets. Do I buy single night +express now? Or wait for rush of fear + express? Will the price go up if I wait?

Not spec, but piggy backing off of the above question - would you guys say the Rush of Fear + Express would be worth it for 2 nights? Or better off getting a ROF by itself and buying Express separately?

You're probably saving money with ROF with separate express. Going off 2021 prices;
ROF $130
Express $119 (on the most expensive nights within the first 3 weeks)
=$370 max.

ROF + Express was $400

You could even save more if you opt for the after 10pm express on the nights you go.

Also, this is me just realizing I spent $400 on ROF with Express last year. :faint:

Thanks! I was kinda thinking the same, just wasn't sure if I was willing to spend a bit extra to have everything condensed into one ticket lol

It depends but honestly the ROF+ is worth it and pays for itself after a couple of HHN nights. If you have an AP/Daytime ticket normal ROF can be fine too but Express is just way more convenient

Our flights land at 3ish on the 8th, so we are hoping to get our luggage dropped off and at the park early enough to enjoy a few houses.
With 3 nights potentially, and looking at individual express prices. ROF + express sounds like the best option. Just makes me nervous having to wait to get tickets. This is torture.

I wouldn't worry too much, every year ROF always comes later in the announcement season so one just has to be patient.
