Something has to change. Food Ops are at capacity, shows were mostly at or near capacity throughout the entire run this year and houses were consistently at 60+.
Whenever the idea of a new show comes up ( even since bill and Ted left) the biggest problem is
1. Where to put it without disrupting too much or without changing too much
2. What kind of show to get.
Every single year all of us speculate over a new show, but the conclusion always ends up being " there's nowhere realistic that could be used, none of the daytime stages can be used at night/ lack of team members/ disruption of daytime activities ( having to close daytime shows for hhn/ having to alter stages etc) and every year including this one, there never seems to be a realistic available space for extra shows that won't bring a nightmare to universal...
And 2, even if there was an available space, there never seems to be a good enough show to bring enough people in since magic shows don't bring in big audiences and another show like bill and Ted is impossible.
I am really hopeful for an extra show, but it literally feels like it will be impossible.
What about a virtual queue system?
But how would that work with express pass?
@UniversalRBLX I was asking myself about it with The Pumpkin Lord’s suggestion except I was thinking of a street performer or a handful of go-go dancers on the non-zone areas (except the London facade entrances to Diagon Alley) of the park.
I really really wish they had more stages with dancers. Demon dancers, mermaids, clowns.
I it would be really awesome
I'd like to see Death Drums return, but it wouldn't be exactly how it was at 21. Beat Builders, which I'm sure was inspired by Death Drums, is literally in the perfect area and is easy to re-theme for HHN.
I've always, always hoped for death drums to be back but almost no one else seems to want it back. Death drums for me was really amazing. I loved it, but when I bring it up, it doesn't seem like anyone else has fond memories of it.
I can’t believe no one has said this, but with the huge ‘ emo ‘ resurgence this year (WWWY Fest) I can see them giving My Chemical Romance a house. It would definitely bring in people who wouldn’t originally attend HHN.
It could probably be easier to do umbrella academy. I realized that with bands, I don't know if all the members have to agree? What happens if one band member says no. Or what happens if someone in the band disagrees
