I was under the impression Transformers saw very low ridership during HHN. I never saw the wait go past 10 minutes when other rides sported healthy 30-60 minute queues. Not really surprised it's been left off the lineup, especially when it can't stay open until event close.

(I do appreciate that they're telling you upfront that the Death Eaters don't do sets the entire event this year.)

I would not trust that graphic, considering the tent exits and S&S locations are incorrect.

Yeah, like @Brian G. said, it’s not reliable. I didn’t notice the small details that are not accurate. It looks like it’s all the info from last year with this years names. Stay & Screams are wrong, Slaughter Sinema is misspelled and we’re definitely not exiting at ET. So Transformers is definitely not accurate, sadly.

"Wolf Man" Art Hits, Trailer This Week? - Dark Horizons

The first trailer for Aussie filmmaker Leigh Whannell’s “Wolf Man” is rumored to hit this week. The news comes as the first art for the film has been spotted at Universal Studios Orlando with the film’s logo and a shot of a house at night spotted near the Fanta Bar at Lombard’s Seafood Grill...

Event more popular than ever and we lose one attraction? Transformers was not a major pull, I'm just more disappointed that the event itself hasn't expanded capacity-wise to feature new attractions or entertainment over the years as demand grows for the event.

Yeah, Transformers wasn't a major pull, but I remember seeing it hit 45-60 minutes on some nights. Just within the last couple of years. I'd rather keep Transformers open so it at least gives guests more options when houses and the other attractions are pulling really long wait times.

Maybe we won't notice a difference, but guests who would get in line for Transformers are now gonna be forced to either be on the streets or in line for houses/other attractions, making the lines even longer. RRR, Mummy, and MIB get some ridiculous wait times during HHN. I wish Transformers and Minion Mayhem would be open like they were in the past.

With them not even using the queue this year, it's a surprise that they don't open ET during the event.

I just can't imagine enough people would go on it to justify paying the employees to run it. I assume that's also the logic behind not opening Transformers every night, though that's probably more of an edge case. I agree the event should be looking to add capacity where it can, but I don't think it's automatic that an attraction being open makes a big dent in the crowd spread.

How many drunken gibberish names would those TM's have to enter each night?

I'd love to ride E.T. during HHN with lower crowds, but doubt it generates enough interest. In a perfect world USF would have another roller coaster in its lineup to offset Rockit's popularity (godspeed to HHN capacity whenever Rockit closes) and another major E-ticket in the park.

If you can’t make a big dent, a lot of little dents is better then no dent.

I have seen where they just open all the doors and no one is taking names. So you basically go right into the forest queue. Which would be way less staff and help a little, same with Transformers. I would think these things help.

This is one of the most crowded and expensive Halloween events on earth. If universal were adding other entertainment I would give them some understanding to argue it wouldn't be worth it. At this point transformers and ET should be open as well as a lagoon show and at least two other shows in addition to nightmare fuel. The event is popular enough to need these things and fill them.

Years ago the rides would have limited waits. The last few years they were not much less than the daytime.

This is the point where someone comes in and cries again that the most expensive Halloween event just can't make the logistics work for more entertainment even though Knott's does every year while being more limited on space.

I am convinced somewhat that the bean counters are starting to get addicted to intentionally limiting capacity as a way to push premium sales much like Disney has done for years with attractions. I'm not sure they really want to expand horror nights much more at this point.

Who is going to run them?

No. Really. Universal pulls from the rides to get ops for the houses. They also have to keep the rides open during the day.

It makes no sense to hire new ride ops or line ops strictly for HHN. So they don’t.

So who runs the rides?

I think some of the frustration stems from the fact that Transformers has traditionally been open during the event. If they have less staff available this year, that's somewhat understandable, but not ideal.

One of the most expensive Halloween events and parks on earth. Somehow this is impossible for them for figure out. The key is the bean counters want to convince you that this is some redistribution of limited resources when they dictate how limited those resources are in the first place.

I mean with this kind of attitude universal might as well cancel that third park right now. Who is going to work it?
