Halloween Horror Nights 33 (UOR) - Speculation & Rumors

For a resort that features the world's "premier" Halloween event each year... there's not much Halloween happening at all outside the event, at least when it comes to decor.

This applies to Hollywood as well. The closest we've gotten is a few Halloween costumes for Minions, Hello Kitty, Curious George & Woody Woodpecker.

Basically 10 years ago now, Hollywood had a "street show" of dancing vampires. Then they'd photo-op with guests after.

Yes, an overall increase in "generic" Halloween stuff/decor in the whole resort would be great.

This infuriates me every year. I want to see some generic Halloween decor SO badly. Obviously they couldn't really do it in NY/Hollywood/San Fran due to the zones, but they could do some cool stuff in Diagon and Springfield, and well as Minion Land.

And don't even get me started on IOA lol

I want the villains out in force in Marvel (in general, its very odd that Uni hasn't added more costumed characters to Marvel - cheap and popular. I love the area immensely, but to anyone who knows comics its very 90s). I want Who-loween and the Cat in an Orange-and-Black Hat. I want dinos run amuck. I want family-friendly ogres and trolls. I'd be perfectly fine with some upcharge shows and events scattered about. Add trick-or-treating, upcharge or not.

The Minions as Monsters need to be someplace in Orlando, at IOA or as a meet & greet at HHN. In general, HHN needs meet & greets - bring the Monsters over from EU, get Sideshow Bob out there, make a Hank Scorpio outfit, break out Chucky and Pennywise (both versions) and Freddy and Jason and Michael and the Babadook and some Gremlins and Freddie Fazbear and whatever other ghoul is popular at the moment. Heck, throw in some Scooby ghosts too.

Meet and greets are really cheap, pull crowds, and can support ENTIRE EVENTS! I just don't see the down side.

For Marvel… They can. Within reason.

But after HHN 12 - they play it safe and you won’t see anything added for Halloween.

But Simpsons are definitely off.

Especially considering that last year the Summer tribute store stayed open well into HHN - yeah, that makes sense.

I'm not even really referring to HHN here, but Jurassic Park had an anniversary tribute store last year.

So it would make sense to see a Ghostbusters tribute store for the 40th anniversary - and being that each tribute store typically has hints for the NEXT tribute store.. yeah!

Is it? Dark Universe is its own thing within Epic.

It would be more redundant than you realize. They'd prefer you visit Epic for the Victoria/Monsters experience.

To me I saw it more as a means of building up hype, having Victoria built up and allowing people to have a potential means of seeing the new face of the Frankenstein family.
