Yeah. This was absolutely great. And unlike last episode which was almost scene for scene parts directly from the game, this one had me guessing just as much as the person I was watching with (who hasn't played the game) and wondering where things were going to go, which I appreciated.
I liked that it did quite a few things at once. It did a lot of world building since the episode takes place during many different years, shows that even in a world as screwed up as this, even the most nihilistic of people could still find love, and all of that was obviously a long and beautiful way of taking a little break from Joel and Ellie and setting them up for the next episode.
Next episode NEEDS to have the quick joke between Ellie to Joel regarding the adult magazine in the truck though...
