I also find it odd they say "Located at..." when you are already there.

I 100% see the reasoning behind it. All of these photos of these signs were taken and shared well enough in advance of the event that as they go around social media (even during the event as more photos are taken and shared), folks attending the event for the first time maybe because of a shared photo will have a heads-up of where to look for what item.
