They announced the dates with the website launch but I think they announced the starting date around the time they announced The Big Four

Not surprised about Stranger Things not happening after S2 was announced for a Halloween release (very counter-intiuative), but I'm crossing my fingers for 2018. [HASHTAG]#NeverGiveUpHope[/HASHTAG]

Also excited for whatever Stephen King property they use, but I do think it'll be It as the remake is coming out. Should be "The Shining" though.

If it were a maze theme to Stephen King I think it would be better as a compilation with Carrie, The Shining, and It.

The Stephen king properties are too big of a deal to combine with each other. Hes been trying to get these properties probably as long as he had been trying to get The Exorcist. If he was able to get the rights to both IT sand The Shining (seeing as he only said there are 2 that he's particularly excited for) there's no way he would not let these properties reach their full potential

Didn't USH not announce it's dates until as the main website went up last year? Or was it just the opening date and the closing date? That I'm not entirely sure..

Found a connection to "The Big Chill" and "The Conjuring" which in my eyes is a pretty interesting codename. Gonna run through the hints again and give the reason as to why I think it is "The Conjuring".

- Murdy said that the place he was traveling to (Uk, Ireland) would influence things for this Maze

- Took Murdy 2 hours to get through 12 minutes of viewing

- "It took all day to get through less than 2 hours of viewing for the research" (Movie that's less than 2 hours)

- "Back at it tommorow... more extremely slow horror video watching awaits" (Possibly has a Sequel)

- "Boo"

- Might top "The Exorcist" in terms of how Scary it is

- Murdy is excited to bring it to HHN (Possibly brand new)

- Murdy gets shivers after watching this movie (or Movies) with Multiple Viewings

- Will be in the JP Queue

- The hint comes from a song on the soundtrack from the movie "The Big Chill"

- Is 62 Pages Long

"The Conjuring 2" takes place in England, London which is in the UK. "The Conjuring" (First film) is a hour and 52 minutes (the scene he could be talking about for 12 minutes could be the opening with Annabelle). "The Conjuring 2" exists and is a Sequel. They use a Boo Sheet for the ghost in the third act Exorcism in the original. "The Conjuring" has never been at the event. "Insidious" has been in the JP Queue twice and was James Wan Property so "The Conjuring"? The Song is "Time of the Season" by the Zombies which is a song that is used in the first film (The Scene where they unpack into the house). Plus the Song was recorded in London which is where "The Conjuring 2" takes place.

That's my connection. Big thanks to Chris Galindo. We talk on twitter a lot about connections and such and we found this connection (Well he did find the song) together. That's my opinion. (Also here's the Scene where the song is featured)

Nothing. It wasn't something that affected them so I wouldn't see it happening. Plus by now I think after all the outrage of the removal of "Bill and Ted" I don't think they want to make a decision like that again.

I think they would set Asylum in 2012 when Briarcliff Manor was close & abandoned with Bloody Face jumpscaring guest.

With Asylum, they can do a lot: use the Raspers that Dr. Arden has in the forest, reenact the exorcism scene from episode 2, have Shachath (Angel of Death) in certain rooms, maybe utilize the aliens as well, along with Bloody Face in the future and even in the 60s by going into his lair.

I think it's a different situation.  If you're using "asylums" in general, I suppose it could be deemed as insensitive.  But AHS is a specific show, depicting a fictitious asylum.  I would imagine it'd be viewed in that light.

Yeah, I feel like the same could've been said about last year's Freak Show portion of the AHS maze. It wasn't ridiculing or painting a bad picture of people with abnormalities, it was literally just based on a season of a television show. If people end up having an issue with an asylum theme they should be taking that up with Ryan Murphy/FX, not John Murdy/Universal.

Plus most likely like last year they might theme AHS to the Halloween episodes.

Feels like a red herring to me but if it isn't, Dark Horse is related to the Predator and Alien properties as they publish comics under that brand.

No, he mean't "Dark Horse" as a Maze that isn't all that well known but ultimately is a favorite (Like Maze #4 last year which could have been "Krampus" or "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Blood Brothers").

I think it's Alien in some sort of way too. Even if Maze #5 isn't Alien Covenant, I still think it has a strong chance this year even if all the hooplah it had in the past with HHN.

Hmmm...if it's a dark horse, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it could be either Hellraiser or Trick r Treat.

I'm guessing Maze #1 is Hellraiser.

I'm with HHNManics. I'm going with The Thing.
