What the bloody....GRRRRRRGFGFGHGDFFFCDFFFGG!!!!!!!!
ARE.
YOU.
SERIOUS?!!?!?!?!?!?!!!????
I am not happy about this. At. All. This year is sounding worse as time goes by. Now I REALLY want to go to Orlando. PLEASE be a false rumor.
Honestly, this year seems on the mediocre side to me. I'm sure there will be some pleasant surprises; but we can't expect hits every year.
A good example of that is the E3's for Sony these past few years. They had year after year in a row of success, starting in 2013, but this year was the first time that the conference felt weak since 2012.
SERIOUSLY. Why is Murdy so allergic to do an original maze!? Why do you need to repeat the same crap every year!? This is FIFTH time we've had Leatherface. Geez.
I'll say this, out of one thing that I'd guess.
It could be, that every time he tried an original maze; it had only mediocre to sub-par GSAT scores. And that it could've been more of an effect of him working under the Kurtzweil year's, as there were reportedly, major cuts to Horror Nights in the past.
I have to think, with Murdy more and more transitioning to Ireland, that this will be his last year under the wings of creative work for specialty events for Universal Studios Hollywood.
Michael Aiello doesn't work for Horror Nights anymore, as he got above and became into a much higher role. And that, with Karen Irwin now into place, I am starting to believe that change will be coming for next year; as Irwin was not under any form of work when development began last year on Halloween Horror Nights 2017.
That leaves the question of The Conjuring. It's a very unique history, as it's seemed to have more than it's fair share of dilemmas to come. This year, it's the Lawsuit. And that I think, it's going to eventually arrive to the event. It won't be for a while though..
