If you guys want any of the HHN scents Fright Props carries them all. HHN uses a smell fan which I could never find but there is really only one smell supplier. They have KRAMPUS and Halloween smells

I'm having trouble trying to remember what smells were in Freddy vs Jason and what smells could be in The Shining.

Freddy vs Jason was definitely burnt flesh and I'm not 100% on this but Halloween I think had a mildew smell.

The Shining will probably have a pine smell

I'm sure the Shining may use some dead body smells, and perhaps musty or pine scents. With Jigsaw, Ash vs Evil Dead, Leatherface, and Roanoke being at the event this year, I can already smell the scents. I'm curious though, has it ever been discussed why TWD Attraction didn't use scents like HoH?

I THINK TWD uses a forest scent. Towards the beginning there is definitely a change of smell and smells exactly like the forest smell that I use. Once again not 100% on that one.

EDIT: I would love to confirm that

I'm guessing my group went during an off time when we went through it at last year's event.

I've just been through that Attraction to discover everything about it. Plus during HHN it just smelt like sweat in there.

Speaking of TWD, has Murdy confirmed or denied seasonal changes for the attraction?

I just know Blumhouse will be full of various scents. As for TWD, I haven't heard anything regarding, but I'm sure there are those who may have better inside info.

I believe a while ago he said that the attraction is too new right now to undergo any major changes yet

Sounds about right. I've been trying to develop a mental map of how the Terror Tram is gonna be laid out. I'm pretty sure the WoW plane crash will be NOEM, like a nightmare sequence from 2008, and that the forest scene will be for Jason's campground. But opening Whoville chainsaw characters are what I'm wondering about. And I'm positive Michael Myers may have a mini maze like in 2009's tram.

The attraction will be getting minor updates to fix the overall experience every year like what just happened last month to fix some safety issues. There was a rumor that went on a while ago about half of the queue being turned into attraction which never happened. Murdy did say the attraction was to new to be changed and redesigned so time will tell.

I just hope there aren't any alternate paths this time, didn't get to go on left path last year.

I believe both, hmm.. you make a good point there, there's always that risk of the sensitive. However, seeing as it is in the nature of the show, and the season's villains/ monster's aren't the mentally ill (ala aliens, serial killers, etc.) hopefully Murdy can fit it into the environment without causing a stir.

Adding to that with the whole Fear VR at the Cedar Fair parks, the main villain/monster -wasn't- a mentally ill patient either, more of a demonic/demonically possessed character. The group that whined about that never actually experienced the attraction, they just threw a fit and someone at Cedar Fair decided to pull the plug on the attraction. (Which is right up there with the boneheaded decision of Hollywood canceling B&T entirely.)

There's another haunted attraction called The 17th Door that I go to, have been the past 2 years since it opened, that goes to extremes, like touching guests, verbal abuse, and dealing with controversial topics. I fear that the oversensitive crowd will target that haunt as they've done with KSF and HHN.

Totally different because they make you sign a waiver saying you can't sue etc. They make it so they can't get shut down over certain themes. With what Russ does he doesn't have a permit and thats a different story with McKamey Manor.

If memory proves me, don't expect scarezone codenames.

I'm quite excited to see (if it's real) the "Leatherface" maze. I just looked up the movie and it'd be interesting to see how it would be executed.
