I don't see how it couldn't be really great. It's such an out-there property that someone really has an idea on how to do it really well. There's no other reason (financial or otherwise) to use this house other than somebody in Design has a great idea on how to make this awesome.

OR, Murdy is just obsessed with the idea of getting to hang out with/direct celebrity actors. Apparently he and Jonah Hill had numerous sessions.

I'm pretty sure they're going to add the drug scene and it's going to be blacklit and have colored flames painted on the wall (almost like in House of 1000 Corpses back in 2010-2011) and Danny McBride with mouths for eyes pops out and laughs in at the guest's faces (and maybe flip off the guests). I'm pretty sure they would play Figure music though instead of Gangnam Style. And maybe demons that look similar to the In-Between and Afterlife demons from Orlando would pop out as well.

I imagine Danny McBride's ecstacy scaractor will have a mask that in my head reminds me of "Hospital Nightmare David" mask (the one where he has a pale face, fangs, and yellow eyes) in last year's AWIL, where the facial features are puffed out like the "David" mask and has the same expression.

I'm going with the theory that Murdy is using this IP so he can do something Exorcist related, it's no secret he's wanted to do a maze of the Exorcist and considering TiTE does spoof it...

The 3D will not really be used in the indoor scenes (inside Franco's house), but more of a tool during the fiery outdoor scenes and demon attacks.

I still can't process this maze being 3D, but part of me did suspect it to be.

I don't know about you guys, but it pisses me off when people say "ooooh this year's going to suck because of this maze and that maze and uuuugh I've been going here for 7 years and this year I'm not going!" Like, "hmm let me see your dream maze line-up! Oh:

^not gonna lie... a Goosebumps maze would be epic.... but I'm old & read the books... so yea. Although I'd love for a Goosebumps themed land at Universal, but that is another topic for another time (I remember the short-lived show & mirror maze at Disney MGM Studios back in the 90s .....blah, ooollldd)

When I saw the pic of the scrapped horned demon that was all black, I thought of Orlando's "The In-Between" house from 2011... I was thinking it might end up a blacklight scare, but was hoping for no 3D...

I'm not surprised THIS IS THE END is their 3D maze. I guess my prediction of it being like Clowns was correct.

Although, I did think they were gonna pull a fast one and make AVP the 3D maze.
