Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit (closing Sept 2025)

There was supposed to be a winch system installed to pull it up onto the break run. This would prevent the great delays in the ride being down as they would then merely push it into its next run and come back to the station. Has the winch system not been installed yet?

I thought I heard it was but it seems that it may not have. For anyone wondering, Rockit is back open today with a 30 minute wait.

After watching Ellen go on this, my excitement for it jumped up quite the bit. Seems like a good coaster when it doesn't meet any problems.

Well I was at Studios today and the first thing I went to was Rockit' I got in line a little before 9 and no trains had started running. By a little after 9 they had started running trains and four trains were sent and then they make the announcement for technical problems and at 9:13 they announce that Rockit' is experiencing a long downtime that may take quite some time. They did have it up by 10, but come on Universal, you can't even start your newest ride!

In there defense, unforseen circumstances sometimes cause rides to have prolonged downtimes that no one can anticipate. Rockit has been up and running with the park opening for awhile now.

The map does not even list Rockit' as having express. Good because the line is long enough without express making the line longer than it already is.

Not having Express really isn't that big a deal. I walked on through the siingle riders' line while everyone else was waiting for half an hour. Suckers!

Remember the days of theme parks before fastpass and express...when you had to wait 30 minutes if you wanted to ride and that was fine and dandy.....good old days.

Everyone should at least be happy that theme parks in America have things like fast pass and things like that because here in Australia we don't have that kinda thing. Even though most rides its only a 10 minute wait on most rides a couple can get up to three hours while everything else is empty (cause its so popular). But we have one system that beats your system. Its an electronic device that you take it to a ride then put it up to a computer which puts you in line. When your time to ride has come it buzzes and you go through the exit to the ride and get straight on. But this is only at one park, even though its not needed.
