Nice. Will be quite splashy. And I expect that tunnel under the bridge to be super foggy.

And if those two are back, I expect the launch effect at the end of the tunnel to somehow reappear.

I hear it will by quite launchy.

Is that a technical term? Launchy?

Maybe we have discussed this before, but I'm not entirely confident that LIMs can get the job done (aka launch) from a tilted position with such a heavy load...Then again Mummy uses LSMs if I remember correctly..Someone here must know the answer

California Screamin' at DCA uses a LIM/LSM launch system on a traditional lift hill so I would assume it's possible. It would also most likely be a launch from a level position onto the hill with additional boost all the way up.

I overheard the UC folks critiquing it saying "It needs to be about 20% more launchy."

It is somewhat funny watching some of you debate the launch system at this late date. The job is fighting gravity and shoving the coaster over the top, whether by rocket booster or unobtainium or fly wheel. As if anyone could tell the difference.

And why is Hillary wearing those horse blankets...

Physically, I don't think you could tell the difference, however I still think the view up the launch tunnel with the spinning wheels is quite iconic.

So when you hear the words "go for launch" you will definitely want to hang on.

I'm wondering the same thing, but Sarah Palin had a killer wardrobe and no substance. It hurts to say that as a Republican.

Also, my wardrobe consists of cargo shorts, t-shirts and polos so I'm not qualified to comment on the horse blankets.

So I guess the end scene isn't happening? I just hope they have BIG OL FANS as you wait for the train ahead of you. The heat from waiting after being knocked around rough 2nd half is what made Hulk not so incredible in it's later years.
Big. Ol. Fans.

I feel like the broken track pieces are still newly made and not refurbished pieces of the old track

More launchy?? I don't think the little bit of thrust that could be applied would even be recognizable..the original launch at that angle is very potent, any more and I think I'll pass out.

It'll feel "more launchy" because it'll have been so long since we experienced it lol.
Every time I make my annual visit, my first hulk ride feels much more powerful than I remember. Those of you lucky to live close by will, I think, be shocked by how soon you forget its power

Those are from the old track. They were stored in the backlot for a good while. They're just repainted.
