This informing of the refurbishment is pleasant.

I find it hard to believe that it is a refurbishment because it came randomley without notice or anything. Most refurbs are noted in advace on the website like Disasters is but nothing for JPRA. It just seems odd.

It is funny you mention it that way since Disaster's refurb was not announced officially anywhere on the site until days after it was closed. The disaster refurb was actually parts further breaking and not really a planned closure until it was decided that something had to be done or the entire ride would basically fall into disrepair.

The fact that they had wall up like this, it is February when water rides typically get refurbished and then notice the other two water attractions in the park just opened back up from refurbs, this would be the last one.

If something went screwy with JRPA where they had to close down like this...than that would mean it is something really bad/costly.

Hope it's a big refurb, there is a bunch of things on that ride that need to be tweaked. Its all apart of the IOA/UO refurb before the big opening of WWoHP

Kind of depressed about this refurb because I'm going to the park on February 26th, which means it's probably not going to be open.

Glad to hear it's official, even though it is sort of short for a refurbishment. Thanks for posting it, Yeti!

Does this mean it'll be closed or open on February 26th?

It is a give or take at this point. Sometimes the day employees are scheduled to go back is the day it reopens. I would not say the 26th is out of the question but the 27th is more likely at this point.

They definately want it reopen before Dudely goes down.

Also when Disaster finally goes back up I would expect Jaws to go down.

I'm not sure what you meant but Dudley just finished getting its yearly refurb. As for Jaws, it is getting little touch ups at the moment such as Amity 3 being taken out for refurb. It should most likely get its main refurb soon though.

I'm most likely going to be at IOA and Universal on the 26th or 27th and will get pictures if it is open.

That was a bad typing mishap. Sorry, what I meant was JP was on the list after Dudley and they will want Jurassic Park River Adventure open again before Dueling Dragons goes down for the final transformation and clerance of the last areas of the wizarding world to be completed.

There is no said "Exploding Shack" on this attraction.

You might intend to post in this thread. http://www.orlandounited.com/forums/showthread.php?3763-Dudley-Do-Right-Rehab

From the UO website it says that JPRA was supposed to open again yesterday. Does anybody know if it did?

According to the online wait times, it is back up. I'm on my way to the parks now, and am only about 5 minutes away. I'll report back tonight on it(no pictures, sorry).
