Does this refurbishment involve bringing in real dinosaurs? I want an actual Jurassic Park. I mean, really, it's 2012 already...

I know with guest demand and all it would probably be near impossible but I would like for nothing more than an extensive refurb for JPRA.

Well, I guess HatetoFly has become HatetoReply... so, I just checked, and the refurbs are listed on the calendar page. Geez, I had to type universalorlando.com and then struggle to click hours & info and then select something.

Just this week the Dudley Do-Right ride reopened and the Jurassic Park River Adventure closed for refurbishment. I guess they’re cleaning up after yet another escaped raptor disaster.

From what I understand, yes. I went on the ride last Monday and all of the effects seemed to be working fairly well. I did notice that one of the dinosaurs were a little off in its movement, but other than that, it didn't seem too bad.

I was at universal today, wasn't aware that JPRA was closed. I was pretty miffed, but hey, at least Dudley's back open. Always feels good to give Dudley some of my love.

^ I personally prefer individual threads about specific rides as I would prefer to not wade through rehabs of which I have no interest. I do think a thread specific to dates and times of rehabs sans pictures has a place as well.

Agreed. If that's the direction things have to go in, at least create two different refurb threads for Disney and Universal.

It's not nitpicking when the amount of information becomes overwhelming. Why have different forums for each park? Let's just lump everything together then.

Over half of the rides in that thread I have no interest in. They could all close. I'm with Teebin on separate threads, just my 2 cents.

It seems like there is some confusion between both the staff and the members. There will still be individual refurb threads such as this one. The point of the other thread is to have one compiled area where everyone can view which attractions will be closed at certain times.

I believe all hatetofly was saying is that he could've checked the thread before his trip to find out that it was going to be closed on that day.

I hope that I was not misunderstood. I love to have the new rehab schedule thread as it serves a very specific overview across parks. But when it comes to details and pictures of individual ride rehabs, I like to have threads like this this.
