Yup, that's what gave me the idea! I feel like it could be a fantastic little experience here in Hollywood and could be very popular, and obviously doesn't have to be as big as the old Orlando encounter. Can just be small dinosaurs or baby dinosaurs, and a little lab exhibit modeled after Jurassic World.

Once again, Im reminded of the Triceratops encounter from IOA....didn't that get dismantled? Anyway, I could see something like that being really popular here...they already have a character meet and greet with Transformers, so they could do an encounter thing here too.

The Triceratops Discovery Trail is sadly closed at IOA. I agree with you, Something similar to that would be awesome at USH.

A Raptor Encounter show similar to ExtraTERROResrtrial Alien Encounter would be great, but it won't be family friendly.

A Raptor Encounter show I think was once rumored from Orlando. Either way, there wouldn't be space for that and it would be terrifying, but super cool idea! I think just a family friendly encounter where you feed a dinosaur or just look at baby ones in an interactive lab would be fun for the space.

When did they decided to put the dinosaur into a tree?

Uhhhhhhhhh......okkkkkk then. That's a random addition.

Kinda funny. I feel like they'll eventually add more plants to slowly cover up the dinosaurs because of how bad the animatronics have become!

Hey Universal, I know I'm not an English professor, but I'm pretty sure you misunderstood me: I said new animatronics, not new trees...the spelling isn't even close!

But yeah, not quite sure how I feel about that tree yet. It'll take me a few days.

You guys have not been to the park lately, that has been there for months!  I kind of liked it, but it was an excuse for the Ultrasaur not to bend all the way down to the water level as it was intended to do.

While they're at it, could they add some foliage behind the waterfall to hide Super Silly Fun Land? I need absolute immersion!

Been to the park a few times recently but didn't have a chance to ride JP, they were short visits.

Like, I like it. But just...all I see is the excuse to cover the Ultrasaur, and I feel like they'll add more foliage to cover the animatronics a bit, which is lipstick on a pig.

and I agree with William, they do need more foliage but to cover up the outside world, like the parking garage and SSFL.

Looks like it was added in late October or November. The videos I have don't show foliage extending that far.

^ I agree and disagree with you. I'm not the target audience for spinners/flat rides, but they ARE really needed, and it would greatly benefit the Lower Lot for any kids who can't go on the 3 big rides. Plus, it would fit the space. I can see a "tea cup" style ride going in there as well as cross promotion for Jurassic World, which will have a kiddie ride called "Egg Beater" or something. I'd prefer to see a more modern version of Pteradon Flyers in the lower lot but idk how possible that is.

Yeah I'd rather just have any other ride. Another spinner... I dunno just seems redundant and also majorly lazy?

For the record I hate the fact that the Magic Kingdom at WDW technically has four spinners right now. Ridiculous.

I'd rather have another type of little ride in the space as well. I'm not picky about a spinner, I just want something for families down there with kids who can't or don't want to do the big 3 rides.

A Pteradon Flyers ride around the lower lot would be nice, or a tea cup style Dino Egg ride to tie into Jurassic World, or better yet a small Dino Encounter experience in a small lab setting would be nice as well. I just wanna see them take advantage of that extended queue and not always save it for HHN.

Wow? They really had foilage on it? Haven't been since HHN this year, but might go again for winter break...interesting.

Also, I am not sure if this is the right thread for it. I have a relative who worked for USH some time ago, around the time the JP ride opened...and they gave me some promotional stuff. (this was circa 1996-7) Haven't been able to find anything on the internet about it. Well, here's some pics. If anyone knows, great.

I went on IOA's River Adventure this week and they are having dinosaur trouble just like we are.  I have never seen JP in Orlando look so poor.

I actually really like the new tree covering the first ultrasaur on the ride. It makes that side of the lagoon feel fuller and denser, and also does a fairly good job of hiding the dino itself.

It's definitely nice, I like more vegetation. I just hope it doesn't slowly become a "lipstick on a pig" situation.

I also like the tree because it looks like the Ultrasaur is grabbing a leaf and eating it. It was always kind of funny because you just saw this big neck rise up.
