Agreed. I think many of us that did it with Gringotts. Expectations were so high, no ride could possibly reach that level. Gringott's is a great ride, no doubt about it, but it takes repeated rides to calm the expectations and enjoy the attraction for what it is, an innovative & vastly entertaining experience. That being said, I stated on this forum apx. a year ago, that I had higher excitement for Kong than even Diagon/Gringott's. And I still have that excitement, so I need to temper my feelings. But, I hope it's longer than Gringott's 4 minutes. If it's in the 5 to 6 minute range I anticipate I will absolutely love the attraction. The Power of Kong.

Visited today and came back with some shots of the facade work. The long face looks really cool in person and the color of the left-side really pops! Loving the blue hue and dark aspects of the rockwork. Some pics are below and more can be seen here!

I love the way the bricks get bigger as they get closer to the ground to create a forced perspective effect. See the image below to see what I mean.

Not too sure what these two next things are. One looks like a maintenance shed and the other a utility room, but they're way up high on the roof. Anyone have any ideas?

Yea, I wanted to get some pics of that because it is definitely going to be an evil looking face dead center above the gate entrance.

well obviously but you get what I mean. The front of that facade is nearing completion. The guests can see it, it's all but offically announced at this point

So I just heard a bit of the plot of Kong: Skull Island (Legendary Films movie) They really want us to feel for the big guy. Chemical induced gigantism and a blonde American mommy figure for the baby big guy.
