Not necessarily a huge surprise, but nice to know. I'll put this one behind tags just in case...

When something looks balls to the wall insane in how they're handling things, it makes you intensely interested.

It looks good, I hope it is.

The idea feels fun enough to hopefully feel better then recent MCU trends

Loki is probably the one show that will have some good grace with MCU fans who feel slighted with the last 3ish years of content. Unfortunately, I feel like a broken record when I say, I really hope they get this one right and put the hype train back on course.

I hope the show is good, but I reject the idea of a hype train, each project should be judged on its own.

Loki does have good grace still so this will probably have decent viewing numbers. With the MCU struggling, I wonder if this gets a season 3 if it’s received well and has good viewership?

This is literally the only Disney+ MCU series I've enjoyed, so I'm hoping season 2 delivers.

Yeah, I've honestly dipped out of the MCU since Thor last year, I haven't seen a show or movie since, but I'll come back for this. Loki has been the best thing since Endgame and I'm excited for more, even if the larger MCU is floundering.

There’s been some good projects since but they are few a far between (Werewolf By Night, GOTG Holiday Special, GOTG 3…. BP 2 was fine).

I still haven’t watched Secret Invasion and by the sound of it I’m not sure if I should waste my time. She Hulk was a disaster as was Secret Invasion Seemingly, with Thor 4, and Ant-Man 3 also putting sour tastes in peoples mouths. The bad has been REALLY bad lately.

Agreed, and this is why I'm not buying the whole "Hopefully Loki season 2 will get the MCU back on track etc.", because the first season of Loki was really good, and set things up to introduce Kang. And then Ant-Man 3 fumbled the bag. Regardless of the eventual quality of Loki S2, it can be messed up by a film dropping the ball.

And then we have Secret Invasion, which was obviously supposed to set things up for Secret Wars, and the end result of that series is something that nobody wants.

Loki S2 does look really good, and I know a lot of folks are willing to give it a chance considering how good the 1st season was. But I don't see this magically turning the MCU around if they stick the landing, it just means they did a good job on this series.

This looks so high quality compared to what we’ve been getting served from the MCU. Loki is my favorite MCU show so far so hopefully S2 continues to be high quality. I’m hoping maybe this show, with Loki being pulled into the future, helps us get a better idea of where the Saga is going.

My main issue with this phase though is nothing really seems to connect. Like, there’s no evident thing that we’re leading to. Sure, Kang and the Avengers films, but… why? It seems mostly because Disney wants more Avengers films.

We’ve getting fed character after character and I think that has weakened this saga as there’s just so many new characters that have been thrown at us with no solid overarching story.

This is exactly where my personal superhero fatigue is coming from. I was totally onboard up to Endgame and most that has come after has just been 'meh' for me with few exceptions.

In comic books they go from big bad guy after big bad guy over and over. Keeps going. A Thanos level threat every other month.

But in movie form, Thanos really felt like the end. The biggest threat they could ever have. I don't feel like Kang could reach that level only because Thanos already did it. Even if Kang is the most dangerous person in the multiverse. Your brain kinda goes ( but, well, Thanos was big and strong and he beat up hulk. Thanos literally succeeded in what he wanted)
So it's like your brain kinda goes, " avengers literally died with Thanos, entire universe was affected" Kang could destroy the universe
But you go, " well there are hundreds of universes so the main universe is not unique anymore"
Kang is cool but he still doesn't feel as dangerous? We don't even know what he wants. We don't know why he's bad. They told us, but didnt show us. Yeah they talk about kangs fighting, destroying universes, but it feels so abstract.
Thanos goal was clear. Thanos was ruthless, one minded. Kang is more abstract and confusing.

Summed it up perfectly.

It's become as bland as Avengers Campus.

It's hilarious on how Kang kills entire universes and no one cares. Literally everyone yawns now lol. It's all part of the plan. Even if the plan is horrifying.
But Thanos kills one little Gamora and EVERYONE loses their MINDS.

Reminds me of the speech that joker gave Harvey dent in The Dark Knight :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Best trend to happen with Disney+ since it launched are these prime time launches.

Just a fun little post... I was in Atlanta this weekend and stopped by the hotel that was used for the look of the TVA. Definitely a unique look to it so you can tell why they chose it.
