I’m perfectly happy for NF to keep eating crowds and playing to guests who enjoy it, but man… I really wish HHN would offer an alternative show for folks who aren’t enamored with it. Humor would be nice.
This! I feel the same way. It just isn't for me and while I think the performers are extremely talented, the show plotwise isn't that great, and it's overhyped. No hate or disrespect to anyone who loves the show, but it would be cool if they offered another show alongside NF.

I am excited to see this show as I have never seen it. I do still feel something happened with the scare zones. I feel the announcements were set up a certain way and this was not how it was planned.
Kevin!!! What if that leak was half fake to make vloggers and rumor spreaders look dumb lol?

what kind of humor? specially in today's age?

I always enjoy Nightmare Fuel, despite all the hate. The performers are really talented and there's always so much going on at once that it's just an all-around fun show. But as several others have said-- it's due for a bit of a change. Optimistic about the whole circus thing and I hope that's more than just a fun title lol
its better than Cirque Du soleil

I will say, at least they seem to be changing it up this year. Having the exact same story for 3 years was getting stale. I’m actually excited to see this again.
I really hope its a different story and show. They are super talented and its a really cool show, but last year every time I saw it I felt like I've seen this show over a dozen times.

AoV felt like a totally new show every time (even sometimes within the same season) and was constantly entertaining. And well that other show before that was a totally new show every time even throughout the night.

I get it's not everyone's cup of tea, but genuinely I love this show so much. The performers are incredibly talented, it gets you hyped up, and for me at least, it's often a big serotonin boost if you're feeling down.

I do agree I'd love to see another new show along the lines of B&T alongside Nightmare Fuel.

Also, circus theme means pretty clowns!

I think I've just figured out the major divide on whether or not a person likes Nightmare Fuel.

Alcohol.

(My friends and I all love the show btw)
I never drink alcohol and I love it?

I feel like the music choices can make or break the show, the second year of this show was not as nice as the first year, but last year the music was perfection. it really was perfect.
as for the clowns, I hope they look like chance

Howl-O-Scream Orlando show was the best Halloween thing in Orlando 4 years ago. Now I can't be bothered to drop $99 on a 20-night ticket because it will be exactly the same. A big selling point of the adult Halloween events, HHN in particular, is their ephemeral quality--you're seeing something new and different that a relative few others ever will. Lose that, you lose a lot of your "cred."

Great call out. Monster Stomp was the best Halloween show I had seen when I first saw it. Now I don't even bother unless I'm taking someone new or people want to take a break and get some food.

I think the rewatch-ability and constant changes that B&T, AoV, and to some extent the Jack and Chance show really made a major impact. Its the exact reason I like being able to go through the houses multiple times.

Once it gets stale, it gets less fun. Thinking through it now, the past few years the houses at HHN the runs have felt kind of similar especially once the attrition really starts becoming apparent.
