Eh, it's hard to keep track of Avatar construction. It's all very hidden from view.

This is probably the best pic yet to show the scope of the work being done on this project in a close up picture overhead.

I have no idea whether or not the magic pixie site has reported this yet, but apparently imagineering is tripping all over themselves once again. "c'est la vie" is hardly the way to approach a new mega attraction and it would appear the chickens are coming home to roost.

That's all that I can and will say.

I choose to not believe anything regarding these attractions until the land opens and i've been on the rides as there's too much conflicting info... however your info seems to be in the minority of what i've heard lately. I've actually heard mostly little that isn't positive about the rides from all sources within the last year or so.

And that is wise of you! No reason to think it won't all be fixed in the end. It's just going to cost them a zillion extra dollars. As ever! :)

I certainly worry about this land ending up like the FLE and it being all glitz and no glam. I like the concepts of the rides that are coming, but they need to be executed to their fullest potential. No budget cutting (or overspending, which is the more likely thing).

The FLE wasn't really meant to be this big crazy expansion that would bring in a bunch of new tourists. The main reason why they built it was to increase the overall capacity of MK, which it does amazingly with the additional walkways, a Little Mermaid people eater, and the ridiculously long lines of the Mine Train. Although either way it does LOOK good.

Pandora is being built to directly compete with the Harry Potter craziness (in a good way) along with the SW and Toy Story expansions of Hollywood Studios. Another big reason why its being built is to give people a reason to stay later at the park, along with RoL, which would only work if the land was something special.

Definitely some concern right now since Teebin's info is nearly always right on. Hopefully they'll iron out their issues so it doesn't just look good, but is good.

Disney always seems to go way over budget. You would think they could figure this stuff out by now. I mean there has to be some sort of science behind their engineering. Right?

I think they might hire some of the same people, after retirement, that the US Pentagon uses for awarding contracts. $50,000 for a toilet seat compares favorably with X dollars (no limit) for a bush that glows when you walk past it.
