Just got my new 8mm wide angle lens in the mail the other day. Thanks Mike for suggesting it! Every time I look at a shot I just took with it I think "god I love this lens"

This scared the crap out of me today... Though after some Googling, it turns out it's a harmless spiny orb weaver.

I saw you posted these on Facebook and thought to myself that you must have grabbed the lens
Its an awesome lens. I did have trouble at first figuring out the focus but once I got the hang of it (and discovered focus zoom ) it has been smooth sailing since.

These things are creepy, we used to get them at our old place and would find some huge ones around. I shudder just thinking about them
