I'm amazed that Universal would sink money into such a shockingly dull theme for an attraction. We're building THEME PARK attractions on talk show hosts now? They really couldn't have found a more exciting property for this space?

Perhap's you should wait to see the final product before jumping to conclusions?

Either this or F&F, I am excited about Fallon a lot more due to that it's going to be probably funny and hopefully something that can be updated time to time with Jimmy so it works out in the best possible way.

It'll be yet another 3D screen simulator ride with Jimmy Fallon shouting at things as you drive around New York City with lots of random celebrities popping up to be not funny and be completely irrelevant in 5 years. What happened to making attractions with real things in them? Too expensive for Comcast?

Once again, wait before jumping to conclusions. It's best for something like this, which will have a lot of humor (probably) to be open minded about it, and not negative in any way; shape or form.

The writers need to be actual former CMs or TMs or at least collaborate with them

I don't have a lot of anticipation for this ride. Having said that, sounds like it'll be a lot of fun.

Yeah, that's Universal's problem. Comcast is financially strangling the resort! They haven't opened a brand new attention in ages. Seriously, it's been like what, almost 2 months since UOR got a new attraction? If this was Disney, there would have been at least 3 brand new attractions in that time span!

Y'know; I would not be shocked that Jason Surell (Head of the attraction, as far as I remember from other individuals) has worked closely with Jimmy and his writing team to make sure that it's up to date and modern for the most park; while having it play off with a theme park attraction style.

In the end of the day, as long as the attraction makes me laugh and enjoy what they did to enhance New York; I am completely fine with this attraction existing. It's doing something that allows cohesion in arguably a great way.

Quality over quantity my friend. I'll take 1 new attraction every 5 years if it means that attraction is more than a King Kong video game cutscene being projected onto walls around me while a vehicle slightly rocks around. At this point it's a guarantee that any new attraction that comes to UOR is going to be about 70-80% focused on projecting CG 3D videos onto a wall. Kinda old and dated at this point given how most people live in a town where we can go see a 2 hour 3D movie in amazing resolution without flying to Florida and spending thousands of dollars.

And my statement of "Too expensive for comcast?" I'm referring to the fact that maintaining a screen is a bit easier and less expensive than maintaining an attraction that is loaded with animatronics and real special effects like smoke, fog, fire, water, lighting etc.

And guess what: Disney is going in the same exact direction with a good number of their next big ticket rides

Either way, I think you'll be happier with this website. All of us here will be happier too not having to read your :poop:

The same way Disney made a dark ride lamer than most mine trains found at a six flags near you with SDMT but you don't see me going around wonder how they were spent so much and took so long for a ride that was not even great to begin with.

Jimmy Fallon is a cultural phenomenon. He is this generation's Dick Clark. His ride will do well and end up most likely being well liked despite the repetitive ride system.

*Points to New Fantasyland taking four years and having a C-Ticket level coaster that has mixed response and an D-Ticket level dark ride that has also mixed response on some forums and sites*

And if / when Disney starts making low quality attractions like modern Universal, I'll be right there front and center, more than happy to talk about what a huge disappointment they are too. Thankfully, based on guest feedback at Universal that I personally heard in person, and comments left on the videos for Kong and so on - people are waking up and realizing that 3D and screens are super boring.

"Jimmy Fallon is a cultural phenomenon. He is this generation's Dick Clark."

LOL, come on.

There seems to be this "OH YEAH?! WELL DISNEY SUCKS MORE!!" mentality on these forums. As if pointing out the downfalls of Universal Orlando must mean I'm some Disney fanboy. I'll say this, Disney makes just as much lame trash as Universal, but at the end of the day at least with Disney I can still go on attractions like Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Space Mountain, Big Thunder, Splash Mountain and so on. Universal destroyed all of their classic rides and their history to find places to sell more 2,000 calorie butter beer.

You may want to look at what's being rumored for Stitch and SWL (and Pandora's E-Ticket simulator attraction), you may want to step back and just wait and see. SDL did a simulator attraction with Pirates and it's being heralded as one of the best attractions of all time.

But, perhap's it's best to get back onto discussing on Fallon?
