Seems like they wanted to get started on this as soon as the busy summer season ended. Hopefully that means they're trying to get it reopened as soon as possible, given how many other major attractions are also closed/closing.

I have heard they want to get it open by April of next year but after what happened this year it’s anyone’s guess and the main focus are replacing the tunnel and roof so I think Seaworld views this as a annual refurbishment that’s why they didn’t announce it.
