No problem guys, glad to help.
Felipe you will like it, if its anything like today... I rode Cheetah Hunt twice and front row Montu in the first 15 minutes. The parking lot was pitifully empty when I left a little after noon.

Great pics. This must be a huge job any idea of the time frame on this?

coincidentally, Oblivion the worlds first dive coaster will also getting a re paint starting Monday. It is scheduled to take 6 weeks, in comparison it is tiny with just the one drop a banked turn then the break run. It did lead the way though and is still a classic ride.

Since BG and other FL theme parks open 365 days a year with overnight maintainence, 24/7 ain't no prob :) Can't wait to see her freshen up and hopefully the paint will last longer then Kumba.

I don't think Kumba got this kind of treatment though, could be wrong, it appears that this coat is meant to last.

"This time around we're using a specialist satin finish paint that will be much more durable than the previous matte" This is a quote from Alton towers regarding Oblivion's paint job. Wonder if the same is true for Sheikra? Maybe Kumba was done in matte?

I do know that Oblivion's original paint, matte, hardly lasted the season.

Yeah I thought Kumbas was focused on painting the rails and then the rest got some kind of cleaning but no new paint just touch ups.

Most of kumba's issue with the spine was from lubricant and some other stuff getting it dirty... so they used a powerful wash from what I could tell then touched up where they needed to, then painted the rails the same color (previously they were unfinnished and then the next paint job painted silver,)

Sheikra is looking good! Cranes are all gone and didn't see anyone working on any track this morning, though it looks like some work still needs to done to the tube steel on some of the track.
Pics when thety upload.

It is, but it is one drop a banked turn and a brake run.

Alton Towers have a strict limit on height, nothing above tree level. Hence the hole it dives into, just like dropping onto Oblivion.
