This is probably the best thing Magic Mountain has done. Period.

What "issue"? Did you actually read what happened? I don't like Six Flags but what happened was a large tree branch fell on the coaster track...that can happen at any park. I'm not a fan of Six Flags whatsoever but I'm glad this wasn't a maintenance thing with the coaster. They should just do a better job of trimming the trees around the track.I have a feeling that Ninja is leaving. They don't want to have that issue again and it'd make sense to close it.
LOL. I bet if Universal or Disney promoted the contest, they could have easily taken up first place.VALENCIA, Calif., Aug. 14, 2014 / -- After four weeks of spirited voting, USA TODAY announced that Six Flags Magic Mountain, the "Thrill Capital of the World," is the winner of the Best Theme Park contest.
We may now conclude that this is just a coaster contest.
This... just... it's unintended humor. I can't... I don't even know what to say.VALENCIA, Calif., Aug. 14, 2014 / -- After four weeks of spirited voting, USA TODAY announced that Six Flags Magic Mountain, the "Thrill Capital of the World," is the winner of the Best Theme Park contest.

The park is fine for what it is, but it's a far cry from a proper theme park. Lousy customer service, lethargic employees, deplorable operations and rundown rides and attractions make it my least favorite park in the world.This... just... it's unintended humor. I can't... What about the Boardwalk at Knott's Berry Farm? It's an amusement park plain and simple, but I don't rank it higher than the classic boardwalks that used to line the Californian coast.
I'm talking Santa Monica and Santa Cruz - the classics. What about the Boardwalk at Knott's Berry Farm?
