I give [HASHTAG]#ChanceOfReign[/HASHTAG] 100% chance of being unknowable at this time.

Sorry. I'll stop posting random tweets about the ride. Figured it might help a little. Mainly just wanted your feedback to see if there's any merit to the posts.

It's not your fault.

We've played the "Percantage" game before during Diagon softs and it didn't go over well. The answer is always going to be 0 or 50/50; nothing more than that. As we saw last week, they had a date in mind and something prevented them from doing Softs.

It's silly to give a percentage because there are people who will take it as a sign and plan accordingly. Giving a number a week out is pretty much BS because the smallest hiccup can happen and bring it down to 0%. In all reality, we will have a better idea when they're getting ready for Softs within 24-48 hours of the planned opening timeframe; and even then it's not a lock.

I think the whole percentage thing started with Kong because people realized they could be like the weather man and say "there's a 50% of reign" etc

I know you guys are doing it in jest. Seems like not everyone is picking up the memo though.

As long as we have a clear sign of softs by Thursday I'm good. If not my brother is using the free cancellation on our hotel and we're going later when everything, even at Disney, will be open. The perks of only being a 2-3 hour drive away.

Did FJ soft open on time? I cannot recall which original tech attraction was the last to have difficulty opening. I do recall that Mummy had issues.

No. And neither did Rockit (2.5 months late). Nor Gringott's. Transformers nailed it though.

The chance for the soft is 50/50 as you will go and it will be open or you will go and it won't be.

Yep - 50% chance of having a great time in the parks or 50% chance of having a great time in the parks. Maybe you get lucky and someone sprinkles powdered sugar on top and you get asked to follow a cast member to experience something new......

Is it just me or did an insider say that they might be soft opening this weekend a few posts back?

I might soft open at any time. It's basically whenever they feel comfortable with it

Once they become an issue on rides I guess, but with metal detectors on the coasters I don't see it happening.

FYI, I didn't use a selfie stick to film that shot in the video. I'm just kinda tall and can get shots of it from the pathway if I stand back and zoom in a little. The walls aren't all the same height throughout also. There's a couple shorter parts. I wouldn't shoot anything I couldn't see from Camp Jurassic though.

And I think Universal has banned selfie sticks on all rides, but you can still use them in the parks. (And they still sell them at the merch cart at CityWalk as you walk in.)
