My mind can't wrap around what a roof projection would look like for some reason

It will be grayscale and white I would expect. Shadows of creatures on the roof and they could even create false foot dents in the fabric to show the weight of the creatures above with the bodies appearing a more pale gray. This is and was my conjecture only. I went BONKERS over the theoretical idea of it when I was told about it months and months ago.

They also mis-hung the projector over the 1st motion platform and then relocated it to the 360 room (I think this is how it was rehung. I know the mistake was made.). I believe this could only work with a bright sky overhead which the 360 has.

I love those Hogwart's Express shadows on the doors scenes. They even seem more real than the outdoor scenes, which I like greatly also.

The roof projections as a whole are pretty awesome! Its nothing too noticible, but just adds a bit more detail and realism to the attraction. Its pretty cool seeing the bugs just crawling about on the roof etc.

For those that are curious there is a certain post on the facebook passholder page about a break down and in the comments there are some behind the scene pics. Don't know how long they will be there but one of them is the 360 platform for those that care. It looks different from the Hollywood platform. Very interesting behind the scene look.

It's kind of bittersweet in a way though. After Kong my biggest excitement for either USF or IoA is Nintendo unless Pets comes before then. More and more F&F is seeming like a Kong knockoff that won't be nearly as good unlike the Transformers and Spider-Man comparison where TF stands on its own really well imo even if SM still has the edge.

I'm still around! I've just been really busy with work / school / family stuff... I'm gonna be checking in here more often Miss the OU forums!

Reigning it back on topic, I was susprised to see that TV spot. I've seen the billboard on I-4 and heard the radio spot... ok maybe not so surprised. I wonder when the media blitz will finally happen and they'll officially call it open...
