Yeah. And I see long lines at Universal during the busy seasons on Mondays whenever I check. You know, maybe before all these hotel rooms, perhaps that was the case with Universal. But, I think with so many more hotel rooms now, their attendance is probably more even & steady.

I've always heard it was specifically at MK that Monday was the busiest say of the week. I am assuming because most guests like to start their Disney vacation at MK.

Is there anyway to add this to the site so that you can check the wait times at any time of the day, like they do over at OI ?

This is through @Mad Dog 's hard work tracking. Writing a program to glean this info off the UOR site would be easy enough or a link to the site could be placed here but it is just as easy to load the app and look when you want to know.
I know what George Reason did for the OI site, it is a nice piece of work and he teased a new function yesterday on the twitwork.

Consider yourself fortunate. When we go in the spring and fall it closes at 6:00, 7;00 and 8:00 at the latest. I've only seen about an hour or two of IOA in the dark all the times I've been there, and I go for three to four weeks a year. It's a shame they close so early. The park is absolutely beautiful in the evening. With all these new hotels, maybe they'll start extending the hours. Or, at the very least, alternate it with the Studios for the later hours. The Studios get a lot of late hours, probably because of the lagoon show. And, it too, is beautiful under the lights.

One of the reasons they close early is they often have after hours events. Having been to a couple I agree that after dark is one of the best ways to see the parks.
I think they would like to cut payroll and do after hours buy outs rather than opening everything at the park for a few more hours. It is surprising how many TM's are present for these events. Well staffed for sure.

I have heard that UO wants to open later but needs to raise per park attendance by 1-2M before that will happen. Others have vocally disagreed with this. Either way, with the soft summer attendance it might still be a while before closing times go later.

Good to hear. It is those 6-7pm off season closings that are frustrating. All those pretty lights we don't get to see. :(

Yeah, they're open until ten through most of the prime summer days, but they go back to early closings after that.
