Its all just my educated guess coupled with the fact that you usually store an extra vehicle in maintenance. The only thing that sucks is that since each vehicle is unique, depending on how they rotate the vehicles someone could end up missing one the the drivers if that was their goal.

Yeah. Kind of like Star Tours Two. You can go on it ten times but still not see a couple of the scenes you wanted to see because it wasn't in the random sequence at the times you were on the ride. .

Yes, I understand that. And it does keep things interesting since you never know what's coming. Myself,I enjoy Star Tours 2 a lot and ride it repeatedly, "primarily" due to the randomized sequences. If Star Tours was still the original first version, I'd probably just ride it once or twice a visit since the ride would get old quick. It doesn't have the quality, effects & immersion on the level of a Spider Man or Transformers ride which are great for re rides.

When I went 2 weeks ago there were a few times the line was closed, assuming the single rider wait was approaching the regular line, and the 2 times I did get into single rider is was 5-10 mins. Someone said it was back to the witch room which I would guess is a 45-60 min wait. The line goes along the right side then wraps behind the witch room then goes the length of the unload station and child swap. Here is my draw up of the queue.
Green are the rooms of the queue.
Orange line by exit is GAP pass, Yellow is singler rider.
Red rooms are glasses wash and scare actor room. Purple room is child swap.
Dots: Purple-Native Screen, Red-witch, Pink-Scare actor holes, Blue-worm
So I would say last stretch of single rider is ~30 mins and if you can see the witch ~hour.

VALIDATION!!! The thing I really hate about single rider is the luck of the draw with how the line moves. All family's of 5? Breeze right through. Then sometimes you are stuck for 10 mins without an empty slot. Then there are times when they can't or are too lazy to find 2 people and you get to sit with your friend.

Funny you should mention this as I got on sitting next to all members of my party, because they loaded Row 11 with only singles because they were out of time for the dispatch. Don't know how that happened, but they rushed us on as fast as possible.

Note that this was Sunday morning. It seems Sunday mornings are usually one of the softer periods at Universal. I'll do an afternoon update soon.
