Rode Kong tonight, first night ride and it was spectacular. All motion worked and it seems they have been tweaking the vehicle speed. We came through the doors and slowed right down so we got a great look at the bones and the bats. They both looked great so I think the lighting was just right. The 360 was rockin and rolling then our trip past Kong was deliciously slow with the big guy doing his thing. Seemed like it has been adjusted from my previous 6 rides. I was back left in row 10.
One note for
@Teebin, The gaffers tape with the guide points is now gone from the track with nothing I could see replacing them but I did single rider and didn't get a good look at the ride path. I did notice the tire tracks have been redone to be very black. Of course, there is no variation in the tracks at all. I guess all the drivers are really good at following the same path unlike it would be on a real jungle path
I did single rider with a 60 minute posted standby time. I asked how long and the TM said about the same as standby so I was pleasantly surprised when I walked through the single queue right past the with room and up around the turn. I was maybe 30 people back from the load! Really bare in there but the speakers overhead had a different spiel from the main queue. It explained a lot of the background by tapping into the "radio" communication between the drivers and their base. Covered pretty much all of the story. I think they need to put more of that in the main queue for those that never say Myth Explorers.
Again I may never ride this during the day again. The night experience was just that good.
