Spinner seems to make the most sense still. While a dumbo-style attraction may not be the most appealing attraction, it is certainly one of the most accessible ones. Given Uni's new interest in families, it has to be.

Ferris Wheels are nice but what would The Simpsons connection be? Flander's Ferris Wheel?

Krusty's Fun Wheel would be a nice knockoff of Mickey's Fun Wheel since Krustyland is full of Disney knockoffs.

Fair enough, but I'd argue that Krustyland riffs on the whole industry (including Uni).

If they wanted to poke at Disney, why would you copy a fairly recent and rather unknown (to Orlando audiences) attraction? If they really wanted to take a jab at a smaller WDW attraction, I'd expect it to be the Tea Cups, Dumbo, or even the Carousel. Much more iconic and still accessible to most guests. I'd love to see a Krustyland Karousel. Imagine the animation panels!

Ferris wheel is just TOO big for that park...it would be insane.

Honestly one of the FEW problems that I have with USF and IOA are the fact that they're built around lagoons and its easy to "take yourself out" of the theming of one area, like the Lost Continent/Mythos when you see Marvel Island and Toon Lagoon. The Disney parks are better at separating the lands.

Therefore, I'm not sure how its going to look from London across a VERY short space to the simpsons area...if you know what I mean.

I'd be extremely surprised if it's not designed in such a way that you are unable to see out of the London area (once in Diagon Alley). They did a very good job of that with Phase I and you cannot see out of Hogsmeade except for the entrances into the area and the outdoor queue for FJ.

If it's indeed going to be a spinner like we are expecting im just hoping that there's something different about it that stands out. Maybe have a switch during the ride that sprays other people with water or just something different and new.

I was just rewatching The Food Wife since the mobile game Tapped Out got an update with El Chemistri, and at the end of the episode they go to Krustyland. Notice the ferris wheel?

But we're not in Krustyland. We're in Springfield. Krustyland needs to stay inside the Simpsons ride, otherwise it's just going to be a weird clash of theme. I still think that people are thinking too linear when they think of spinner. It doesn't have to be a Dumbo style, there are many styles they can go with.

I'm not sure why anyone would want a Ferris wheel to go here...I mean it looks like the odds are against that anyway but Ferris wheels are either a.) too big to fit and therefore ruin sightlines, or b.) low, low capacity meaning long lines or short and cruddy rides.

HAH! Yeah right, that thing is broken down 90% of the time.
Of course Universal probably has a better maintenance team than Wonderland, but still...

I'd like a spinner like the one Busch Gardens Tampa had about 15 years ago, but removed...I don't know the name of the kind of ride. It had several arms that went up and down, and each arm had 4 individually spinning cars...it was tons of fun.

I really think any spinner they put in won't have a height restriction or I hope not. Because they need a ride with no height restriction. Right now the only thing they have in the park with no height restriction is Shrek, Twister (my kids do not scare easily and go on haunted mansion love fireworks etc, but the last part caused my son to cry and my daughter was not too happy either), Disaster, Terminator, and then the shows. I personally think they need another 2 or 3 rides with no height restrictions. Now did I want a spinner, not really, I would prefer an amazing dark ride like Haunted Mansion, Pirates, etc. But I guess they have to start somewhere. I just hope it does something different without being too crazy.
