Appreciate it.

Also a heads up about another pleasant surprise, since this turned out to be the case as I bought my TokoToko Mario:

I think they finally dropped the restriction of the SNW merch not getting discounts, cause I was able to get it on my purchase.

EDIT: I think they absolutely dropped it. I bought some additional merch for a friend on my way out and the AP discount was still good.

How are reservations for Toadstool’s these days? Going Sunday and looking to FINALLY try it for the first time and getting a ressy at opening.

I actually went there on my last visit on the 4th of July. They do indeed open up an hour before opening, but they didn't seem to instantly vanish. In fact, they had all time slots for the day available. Could have been because of 4th of July, but I'm sure it should be relatively smooth now that it's been open for over a year now.

The early lunch hours are usually the first to go, which I think I noticed after checking an hour or two after park opening.

You're gonna also want to bookmark this too. Same link from the QR codes in the park: bentobox Reservation

And much to my surprise, reservations are still open at the time of posting! This probably means that 4th of July crowds just ate up reservations at a faster rate than normal.

Finally tried Toadstool's for the first time ever.

Reservation was at 12:45, I didn't order until 1:25, and I didn't receive my food until 2 PM on the dot. Very, very ridiculous standard of ops they have here, but I cannot blame them completely.

Had the Tomato Soup (good!), Luigi Burger (fine - chicken was a little dry, fries were actually very good though), and the tiramisu (very, very good). The Lemon Squash soda was also very tasty. However, I spent $106 for two people which I also found a little disappointing, even when considering it's a theme park establishment, but the wait time REALLY dragged my experience down. I felt especially bad for TMs though. They really look like they try their hardest. Guests, especially tourists, seem to not understand that they'll be escorted to the dining room and still try to rush past looking for a seat.

I also bought the TokoToko Mario toy, but I didn't realize it didn't have the red shell on the back like Japans does. A little disappointing, but still a very fun collector's item.

MK was at 70 mins. average all day and the line moved nonstop. Operations and loading seemed to improve much more than they were a year ago, and guests seemed to like riding it now that expectations and word goes around that it's more of an actual video game compared to a fast paced thrill ride that many going in blind would have expected a year ago. Kudos to the team.

106 Dollars for 2 people

What else did you get besdies drinks and one entree each? That seems insane

Also yeah, Its why I don't eat at the safe....waiting 1.5 hours for food anywhere is insane. Thats more time then I wait for the Blue bayou and request a seat next to the water.
