The replacement will be very much like Tchoup Chop. Top shelf Pacific Rim fare.

I would prefer a straight up Polynesian restaurant/ Tiki Bar.

I hope they keep the water feature, it's such a fantastic focal point of the location.

I was just checking this thread on Sunday but didn't want to be the same guy to revive it twice in a row.

Didn't Voodoo get announced and open all while this was already closed? There is no info anywhere on this, it's really weird

Im still sad its gone and I live in hope that they haven't totally gutted that beautiful interior.

True. But I usually stay club level at RP and just bop down commando in my Duff jammies and flip flops and take to the room.:rock: Same with the awesome double chocolate brownie at Jake's

It's been 5 months now. Any action observed? Seems crazy to not be utilizing with the convention traffic they get.....

Looks like this venue opens Sunday. Hope it is more than minion dining but if the bar is still there it might be fun to watch some minions as you swill boat drinks.

Maybe there is hope, they are calling it the "Tahitian" room so they could switch over after breakfast but how do you get the stench of maple syrup out of the place? Maybe @Teebin knows :grin:
