Unless they give it a "darker" feel. Perhaps some sort of tunnel. I doubt it, but it would work.

I don't think the idea is that you're literally inside a computer though. It's just going to be more of a virtual proving ground. It's not Tron, it just looks like it.

From the sound of it, they understand this and might have added 'uploading' & 'downloading' scenes. You board in the present, go into the virtual, then come back out to do the high speed. Or something. I was reading between the lines a bit.

I am not sure whether I should be hopeful for this or not since I hate the original and consider it the most overrated attraction in WDW history.

I also know what the ride system is capable having ridden JTTCoTE in Tokyo and soon to ride RSRs in Anaheim.

BTW, the folks at TDO battling against RSRs coming to FL are doing so because they feel it will 'murder' to use one mid-level exec's words EPCOt's attendance because people are already onto the fact that the park is stale and largely a place to eat, drink and shop. Now, if they can do a better version of TT at Studios and get other new experiences, they feel like gate count is gonna plummet. I agree.

I can see that and agree. EPCOT has become a shopping mall with some cool seasonal events to prop it up. Will there be anything green lit for the park?

They aren't wrong, if you ask me. EPCOT has been kept afloat by Food and Wine and Flower and Garden to a lesser extent the past few years.

Where does this info come from? It is hard to believe such high level information regarding a personal opinion could leak out.
