From my understanding, yes.

It's the same reason they built the shade structure at Nemo's entrance, too.

The scaffolding never really bothered me until I started reading about how much everyone hates it on here.

Now I'm going to notice it every time I visit

If the scaffolding is all we're upset about come this winter, then Disney/GM did their job here.

I really have faith in it. I think the project is going to turn out very good.

Since, for me, TT has always been WDW's most over rated attraction, I really hope this makes it better.

Soarin to me is the most overrated IMHO, its a NEAT attraction, but its not really, truly a ride.

At least TT was a ride and did stuff, the outside loop was always pretty cool too.

Soarin' is more of an experience. O' Canada! is very similar in the type of experience, except strangely I enjoy O' Canada! MORE. Possibly because of Martin Short. Possibly because it's Circle-Vision. Either way, I find it a more fulfilling experience (that happens to come with a much shorter wait!)

i have conflicted feelings here. i mean, the concept of the design and story sounds interesting, but i still do like the direction and concept behind this current one. really the only problem was more surface level, like the track itself.

How is riding a car through a testing plant even remotely imaginative? Especially compared to the terrific AAs and humor that was World of Motion.

the point of Test Track was to show you (loosely) what it was like testing out cars. hence the name "Test Track". it went through the motions of the whole process, all the things they examine and test for: brakes, steering, how it stands against different temperatures. that was the point.

it's cool and everything, but honestly Epcot has better offerings. that and the line is SO not worth it.

It's obvious the ride system for Test Track can result in some amazing attractions (see Carsland), but the actual Test Track ride has always been a complete snore to me. Possibly because Disney has always gone out of their way to market how fast the ride is, as if it's this thrilling expereince. Instead it just feels like your driving on the highway (and for about 30 seconds)...I drove faster on I-4, on my way to Epcot, then I did on Test Track.

If they want to "Thrill me" make the car go at least 100.

They also tease the stupid wall test a bunch of times, and it never lives up to that tease either. The whole ride is full of "gotcha" type moments that are incredibly cheesy and treat the rider like they are a trained monkey...or an actual crash dummy.

Ok, I'm a little unclear here, so we ride in a snow filled car with all the free ice cold Coca Cola you can drink?

Oh well, it will continue to be uber popular, regardless of what they do to it.
