Hmmm... the power and capability icons look like they should be swapped. Then again, I am not an 'auto' phile.

This reminds me a lot of what Horizons used to be, where you designed a space vehicle and then took it out for a spin.

This is what Test Track should've been from the beginning. And how awesome would it be if they use a tesla coil or some sort of electric spurt to create a real lightning effect in doors.

Now with the concept of the ride out, we now know what will happen pre-show and queue portion of the line as people create their car, put the design on some sort of card, and then that card scan and inputed, which is what you will see at some point in the ride.

Yea. It's going to be a serious upgrade. And this is much more in line with EPCOT's core.

You just like it because you're a Disney Head! :P

But yeah. Woah. I don't wanna get too excited, because they still have to pull the thing off in reality. But wow. This could be amazing.

Looks like less of a test track now and more like traveling through a computer. I personally liked the vehicle proving grounds aspect it had already.

Should still be cool though.

I honestly didn't see THIS coming in the rehab. But I am thrilled! Step in the right direction, Disney. Now for the other foot :)

I'm really hoping they can use the refurb schedule they have going right now as a stepping off point. Having BTM and TT down at the same time is a huge step for them. And there are whispers of good things coming, so fingers crossed.

Based on my very intelligent guessing:

The "Power Room" will replace the "Wall Barrier"
The "Scanners" will be one of the "Test Chambers (Heat/Cold/Corrosion)"
The Uphill art is obviously the beginning.
The "Lightning area" replaces "Brake Testing"

Which explains why you've never done that in all your time on the board.

I like the design aspect of the attraction...it appears they are going with more of a digital design route than a physical 'test' route..looks as if we will be going through the computer rather than the testing facility..interesting concept and it seems to fit more of the "future" theme that EPCOT has..

Test Track 1.0 was too grounded in reality with absolutely no attempt at futurism/forward thinking. This one seems to be the opposite or at least look it. This one very much "More EPCOT".

Is this a lean towards futurism or more a lean towards modernism? Fine line I know, but something like the staircase down into Dinosaur is more modern industrial design... therefore it still looks modern 14 years later. Parts of the design here look reminiscent of the final causeway before the counter into Soarin and I am not sure how that will hold up in 12-14 years.

Once I heard of the rehab and what it was going to entail, this is exactly what I thought it would be like. Custom design your car, ride it through the main ride, see how it 'ranks', then play with it more in the post show.

I really doubt most of the tron-ier aspects will make it (lets be honest, lightning bold with digi-cactus, probably not happening) but it will be a sweet upgrade. Sum of All Thrills meets an actual, fully developed pavilion and ride system.

 Seriously, it does look like Tron: Legacy's production design. I'm not complaining, just wondering how this still equates to a "Test Track" if it's all contemporary/modern black and neon around you?
