It's too premature to think two pieces of material placed on the awnings somehow signal it staying. They seem way too small and temporary. Probably to block those standing on the grass seeing in.

Really JS? I kinda like it...its not all bad, definitely better than the basic scaffolding they have there now, this is adding some pizzaz to it.

Apparently, the entrance to the purported future of vehicle design rests on the canopy of a temporary outdoor stage.

Yea the scaffolding is just meh, but the new banner and covering isn't all that bad and better than it was before....as long as a I don't have to be subjected to break tests and shock absorbing tests, I'll be happy.

Have to love your optimism, Vyrus.

It's just that "at least better than before" should have never crossed the minds of Imagineers. They're not about "well, at least..." and they never have been, at least not until recently with certain projects. Granted, it does have a better appeal than the previous canopy design, but the fact that there is still a canopy is worrisome. This is a facade in a place called "Future World", not the front of a manufacturer's design in a world fair (which might even look better than this mess of exposed framework given the aesthetic advancements in temporary architecture).

The money is there. The ideas are there. The willpower of the audience to revisit the attraction is there. Why not deliver what WDI has proven to give so many times before?

It looks better than what was there before...but consider what was there before..I still think there are more clever ways to cover a walkway..

A WDWMagic forum member posted a look for the frame of the giant "TT" going up on the left side of the canopy structure, as well as a look at the construction progress of the entrance and signage.

The new pavement looks fantastic, much needed. I REALLY hope the building gets a new paint scheme that matches the new entry way.
