So...really...they don't have to do a whole lot to fix this

1) Tunnel scene distant gunshots heard "we tracked the bus, put your hands up or...get..idk..wrecked or something" We hear, not today and the tunnel scene starts as we speed away

2) Alley scene (not sure if both cars can stop in here) but theoretically, both busses would stop in here for a shoot out scene, maybe some sparks and fire would be added (?)

3) Party scene becomes a continuation of shoot out scene...more practical effects...ends with us being told (who's the villain guy again) is on his way

4) 360 scene is the same, add 3D

5) Party Busses are no longer referred to as party busses...but Turbo Busses

Part of that sounds like "The Great Movie Ride' at DHS, which is not a bad thing.

Is there a rumored date on when this is happening next month? I'm going to the parks for the first time in several years and I was really hoping to catch this one before anything happens to it.

I'm not saying I'm looking forward to it but I'd like to experience the current iteration just once to say I was there.

I’d honestly be ok if Supercharged stays as is for a few more years IF the current ride is completely removed eventually. After that, I don’t care if it’s themed to F&F at all, I don’t even care if San Francisco stays around. It just can’t be another sit in front of a screen ride for the studios.

You know this ride would probably be twice as good if it just took place at night. Neon nitrous effects + darkness to hide problems with the CG.

Hopefully they do a nice scrub of the musion screens so it's clean again, along with whatever else needs to be done in those few days for F&F.

I mean, Stitch's Great Escape was 'temporarily closed' for 2 years, and Fear Factor's been 'temporarily closed' for a year and a half. Not saying it isn't coming back, but the website saying that doesn't mean much.

Four days for F&F, there is so much they could do with that.
For one, start a fire and burn the thing down.

This !!!... O: ....make it look Accidental, hire back that maintenance crew that wrecked the Gringot's pre tunnel scene....and insurance pay helps budget a 'real' attraction.

Maybe just cause I grew up with it but a show in this area I think is frankly best. You cannot seem to fit a coaster there, they’re not going to re track it to a system like Spidey or anything, this ride sucks, let’s make it a stunt show! Bourne seems to be popular, do a F&F themed once with actual cars (in some areas) and use the Bourne tech. Just try to up it a little. With all the bars and dining right nearby, Diagon Alley right next door, kinda a good spot to put a show that can eat people a tiny bit.

A show would be great, a stunt show redundant, so lets make it: Fast & Furious the Musical!
Synopsys: Our heroes throw a party with slutty women (we need to save that clip from the fire) song "I like big butts and I can not lie" (tribute to closed Shrek ride).
Some official jerk shuts it down waving a gun around. Song "Don't stop the party" (by the universally beloved Pitbull :yuck.
The jerk gets killed by bad people (gender natural). Song "I shot the sheriff".
Our hero's jump in their cars resulting in a car chase (use of screen backdrop). Song "The Race" (by Yellow).
They escape but Vin's car is trashed. Song "Car Crash" (by Matt Nathanson)
The team comes together fixing the car (Grease Lightning)
We end with "we are family" (Sister Sledge).
Sure this is bad but will still be better than the original ride.
