Pokémon I’d prefer go to IOA personally but I know it’ll end up at USF.

How would Pokémon be a better fit at IoA over USF? I really don't understand that take.

It’s not a big movie property. Yes there have been movies. It’s doubtful that any ride would be based on that singular film or its likeness.

Dude... it's a multi-media IP that's huge. It doesn't really matter how successful the individual movies have been it's the IP overall that counts. Like I said before, this is also a family friendly IP that appeals to multiple age groups. The tone and world of this IP fits in way better at USF then it does at IoA. There's a reason Zelda is (most likely) going to IoA. The setting and story of that series fits in perfectly with IoA's themes in a way Pokémon doesn't.

Oh my god dude. This wouldn't break the theme to the damn park. Not in the same park that has freaking Minions and F&F: Supercharged. You just don't get it but that's alright. I give up lol

Disclaimer that I feel like USF pre-IOA is the best version of that park. I felt like the story telling of individual rides were great and you truly felt like you were a part of that movie. There’s very little of that spirit left. So I mean I know I’m in the minority but I’d prefer a Shrek os puss n boots dark ride over POkemon.

While I'm all for a theme park having a unified theme, that ship sailed a long time ago when they abandoned the "behind the filmmaking" angle that didn't age super well. USJ is already a "studios" park that has a variety of IPs that don't necessarily conform to the "movie" theme, and those properties have been largely successful in recent years.

USF's best path forward is to pair beloved properties with exciting and innovative attractions, and I don't think that strictly limiting themselves to additions based on films is the best way of accomplishing that.

Then change the name. Lol All I know is that the park has no distinct personality anymore. And I say this as a person that goes there two or three times a week. But I’d argue the best rides that were based on movies didn’t use BTS stuff as a basis. BTTF, JAWS, Ghosbusters, Kong, T2 was all about story and making you feel like you were a part do the show.

All I’m saying is just because they moved away from movie making doesn’t mean they have to change the name. Also no one is saying they can’t build new rides with the scale of Kongfrontation or JAWS anymore.

People sued to say that world expo in general would likely be gone for a huge Pokémon area. I mean again if it’s one ride I don’t care as much lol. I already don’t love that Minions got a land. I know to prints money as would Pokemon but it’s just a personal preference. I feel like IOA and EU are the IP land parks. But I’m living in the past admittedly.

Usually lands mean less variety. I didn’t wa t MoM to be in USF either. lol But Im a hypocrite because Amity Village was my joint.

We lost two attractions for Supercharged. Even if it had been a good ride it’s hard to argue closing two for one is a good bargain. But I don’t. Really care it’s John the Simpsons and Springfield. I just don’t want the entire back corner to be a single IP and especially one I don’t personally feel has much story to offer. Like I said I know it’ll sell a ton of merch. So economically speaking IM yelling at clouds like Grandpa Simpson.
