The Old HHN 30 Speculation Thread (2020)

I HATE spreading fear about this, but what are people's general thoughts about how the Corona Virus will impact HHN? I think this is FAR from over. I am in the haunted attractions industry, and our giant trade show in St Louis that was supposed to take place next weekend has now been postponed. It would be nearly impossible for vendors to be able to finish products and ship them out to shows if operators bought at a date much later than this... The good thing is that I am sure a show of HHN's caliber doesn't put all of their buying eggs into the trade show basket, but this is sure to impact the live entertainment industry as a whole for a while. Food for thought. I wonder if Universal plans to play it safe on the houses with the future being so unknown...

From what I understand, and this goes to everyone who’s been guessing sequels to Orlando originals, legacy posted over at the Hollywood thread that this clue also applies to Hollywood, so I’m assuming whatever it is, is a shared IP(if it’s even a clue for a house).

I thought that too, I thought it could mean an anniversary, since HHN is the big 30 this year, it seemed possible but I feel like there has to be something else to it, it's too obvious.

Well, it could. The effect is just unlikely to be seen from the guests experience. If the parks close and construction is halted for 30-45 days... that's enough time to build a house or two.

Right now, though, there are too many variables to make it worth discussing.

Well, your favorite year had a period of halted construction (I think?). So there's hope.

I suppose worse case scenario they would remove transition curtains and stuff in face in the houses

But I'm pretty sure it will be way under control by then

* The movie was the fourth film adaptation of the 1955 novel "The Body Snatchers"
* It was initially supposed to be a remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers
* Invasion of the Body Snatchers house

* Also, the Screenwriter of "The Invasion" (David Kajganich) was one of the screenwriters on the remake of Suspiria
