Ok now I really can't wait until this airs. In hopefully less than a month I can walk through those same gates.

Just to keep us talking does anyone this they would open the area without broomsticks open? Since we've heard training at least for there has been pushed a bit back. Thus having say most of the shops, FOTH, & DC open with the rest opening for soft when training is done or testing is done. They could still sell the Butterbeer at the cart so who thinks there a wild chance they would open up the area for soft with just some shops & the 2 rides open. This would maybe even be public soft before previews so the previews can include FJ for TMs & passholders when its ready? Just a random thought for those hoping it opens around the 9th still.

Well I'm hoping for late April early May for some form of soft opening however I have heard the contract provisons may be all or nothing therefore forget soft openings until late May....

The key question is weather they will open part of the park or not.

I don't think the area will open without the rides open. They want everything open at once. It would look sloppy to be able to walk through but have the castle blocked off

Bryan as much as we would wish "everything" to be open at once it doesn't make sense really. Think about it this way that they have hired all of these TMs for WWoHP & are moving some from other shops ect. but as of now all of these TMs have to work else where. All of them need to be trained in their new location & have guest experiences at that location before let's say May 28th (the 1st packages) when the crowd really hits. So to wait for FJ to be completely ready for even a soft should keep TMs who have nothing to do with it from training with guests? It just doesn't add up. MAYBE for everything to be open but FJ (all shops, broomsticks, 2 other rides) but those gates can easily be closed as much or as little as they want up until the end of May & still have the rest of the area open when they see fit.

I can't wait to see Ellen on Thursday & Friday. I thought I'd have to miss it on Friday because of school, but since it is Good Friday we don't have classes. So excited! Also waiting patiently (or as patiently as I can) for the pics from jj3352! Thanks so much for taking pics & sharing them
