It's not about what I want so bad; it's about Universal wanting money so bad. They're going to sell that merchandise where they please.

The shops are going to be WAY crowded when this opens to the GP. A read of this article,http://www.orlandosentinel.com/busi...ry-potter-merchandise20100605,0,1340761.story should better explain it to you. Some people will pass on shopping because of the crowds, so Universal is adding other ares for sales.

Does anyone know if AP discounts work on the Potter merch. that is for sale in Port of Entry? If it does, that would be an awesome loop hole!

Someone on the Disboard said they used their AP discount in WWOHP.

Yes that's correct, the only places that you cannot use the Annual Passholder discount that I know of are Hogs Head and all merchandise carts, including the Butterbeer cart.

Indeed he did & he really deserved it. This & the preview made watching the stupid stuff worth it.

& to stay on topic he should of said "Now that I won best villain.....I'm going to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando!!!" lol

The AP discount is definately good in the WWOHP. I called last week and at 1st got an I don't know. I called back the AP line and got someone different. I explained what the website said and asked why AAA would get a discount but not AP. She put me on hold for a few minutes and then told me yes, I would get my regular discount. The only exception is anything that is limited/one of a kind. I'm assuming this means any Noble Collection items. Next day 1 or 2 people on here said they had received the discount and I DID get a discount a few days later. They probably had alot of complaints.

Don't get me wrong Tom Felton IS Draco Malfoy, however Waltz's performance was just incredible. Kinda makes me wanna watch it right now..I'm going to be at Uni bright and early tomorrow, around 8:30. Hopefully my second time around is more promising...I'm so excited, yet must have restraint its never a sure thing with Uni.

--- Update ---

Someone should post a montage of the best pics from start to finish of WWOHP.

Just wanted to note I also got my discount BUT when I was there with my friends on Friday at Hog's Head they said they used to have the discount but not anymore & that things are changing on a daily basis. So not only is the price of Butterbeer seem to be going up it seems discounts are subject to change back & forth so always check when your there even if you think you won't get one.

I think you have a pretty good chance. Not only do I think that weekdays are better because they're slower, but especially these last few weekdays before school kids get out will be the best chance for GP.

Yeah. It's gone up $1 so far and changes to the island are being made daily.

To be exact, "Price of Butterbeer being adjusted daily. Earlier in week was $8.50 & 2.50 refills, today was $9.50 & 3.25 (nonfrozen)"

However, "According to second hand reports, Butterbeer refills were only $2.50 today."

Those prices are rediculous for a drink. I'll try it once, reluctantly, but if they don't lower the price I'll stick to water.
