How have the crowds been recently at WWOHP? Was thinking of going sometime in the next few days and would just like an update.

Also, how have the lines been around IOA?

Its been swamped, we wont really see any decline in crowds until late August and especially about 10 days after labor day weekend.

I'm so glad I went when I went. I was really hesitant about going the week after it was opened, and then again 2 weeks after it opened, but surprisingly, from the time it's opened to now, I think lines and wait times were shortest then. It's funny how unpredictable crowds can be.

I think it depends on the time of day and the weather. We were there this past Sunday afternoon, it was raining off and on since the am, when we got there at about 4:30 there were so many people heading towards the parking garage you would have thought it was closing time. We didn't see any waits over 30 minutes and many were 5 or 10 minutes. WWOHP was empty, we were on FJ in 25 minutes, ( not single rider by the way) even with a delay of about 5 minutes. Around 8:30 we hit HogsHead and I couldn't believe that Three Broomsticks was almost empty. We hit the outside bar at NASCAR for a snack before heading out and the bartender said it was the slowest night he had seen all summer. I also didn't see a lot of tour groups from South America so maybe their holiday season is over and it helps to ease the crowds. Maybe it's just my imagination but I feel as if I have seen more tour groups from SA than in the past.

Slightly off topic, but I found this kind of amusing: Warwick Davis (Wicket from Star Wars, Flitwick from Potter) was at SW Celebration V, and he was talking about his time at WWoHP for the opening ceremonies. He mentioned how amazing it all was. How wonderful of a job they did bringing it to life. How much fun he had being able to ride his first roller coaster ever (was speaking of Flight of the Hippogriff). But here's the kicker: The entire time, he kept calling the park........ "Disney World". Universal can't catch a break sometimes.

I just saw that, it is amazing the amount of people they get on this ride on a daily basis, I wonder what the hourly ride count is?

I just got back from my trip over to WWOHP (I'm from California) and it was really really amazing! The crowds were kind of bad the first day I went, which was a Thursday, but afterward it seemed to die down a bit, it's definitely better in the morning because we got early entry and also at night.
Here are some pics that I took around the land

The Goblet of Fire hasn't been working the past few weeks. We also got stuck at the first brake run for 10 minutes. I'm liking DC less and less...

If they were to start counting on opening day June 18 and record through yesterday August 15. That would be 58 days which means the FJ would gobble down 17241 people a day! That would put operations at about 1326 per hour for 13 hours a day.

They said they did it for a reason (can't remember it) but that they were going to add some soon. They should have gone up sometime last week or so.

But here is the main question, are they counting all those people who rode it beginning on May 28th? Or from the official grand opening date?
