Thanks for the video, noticed the stairs they are going up...I wonder if that is in the que???

Looks like the shops have reasonable recesses...not large but not too tiny either which is good.

I never watch Ellen, she really shows her age......with her comments.

I didn't picture Honeyduke's sweet shop looking quite like that - that floor makes it look more like a Grease-era diner :P

Looking forward to seeing all the merchandise :) hope it isn't horrifically overpriced

That ribbon-dancing show looked like the girls were wearing Beauxbatons uniforms: http://images.allmoviephoto.com/200...5_harry_potter_and_the_goblet_of_fire_071.jpg
Makes sense since the DC is based on the Triwizard tournie that Beauxbatons took part in.

I haven't seen this mentioned yet. During the Ellen video, there is a clip of Beauxbatons students ribbon-dancing. Now, did anyone else notice the Durmstrang guys standing behind them, waiting for their turn? Looks like this show will be more than just ribbon-twirling.

PSST. watch The Order Of The Phoenix! i think i found some benches that would match the ride vehicle benches perfectly!!!!! Look around inside the ministry of magic when they show scenes of it. and when harry is on trial fro using hispatronus charm the benches of the back of the court room look very similar to the ride vehicles just stained to an almost black color.

Couple of things I noticed.
No luggage on the Hogwarts Express lost continent side.
Butterbear looks like it is served from TAP!
All the window displays look AMAZING (Zonkos has puking kid, Honeydukes lots of sweets, Owl Post has owls and packages)
Dervish and Banges looks exactly like concept art. So does all the other shops. Some seem like they are not completely finished. More merchandise will be added probably.
Kid is blind the container says Coconut ICE?? Honeyduke's doesn't seem finished. Some empty places.
Portrait Gallery looks HUGE in video. Maybe the one we saw was the express portrait hall. Maybe Ellen saw main one.
Kids seemed bored in Dumbeldore's Office. I know I wouldn't be.
Olivanders looks GREAT. Nice aging.
Line does include guard rails everywhere. Good crowd control. Children did not know it was a skeleton of a dragon. They are not SUPER fans
Triwizard show in semicircle!'
Looking good.We didn't see the Owlrey inside and the 3 broomsticks!!!!!
I wish I was there so that I could take notes.

You Said you saw a Puking Kid in Zonkos does this mean Zonkos might sell Puking Pastiles.

Considering how near-complete Hogsmeade and Flight of the Hippo are, I imagine these areas will soft open at least by early May. I mean, there really isn't much of a reason to have to soft open everything at once. Plus, I'm sure Universal would love to start raking in money from Hogsmeade. June is too far away; I can't wait for summer! ^_^

It just aired here and it was funny as heck. I could stop laughing. I also notice those guys in the back during the dance.

Okay, maybe off-topic, but it was a little awkward when Ellen gave the kid a "love potion" and tried to convince him to fall in love with her... when everyone knows that this wouldn't make a bit of difference because she's....

Nevermind. The DD/DC queue uses the final stages of the "cavern" right now, but not the majority of what used to be the castle (I'm a former Dragon attendent myself). Also, the safety warning signs are framed with Potter-themed boxes, like the Ministry of Magic announcements outside of WWoHP. Neat to see the gradual transformation. And the dragons are the same color as before.

Anyone else annoyed that they've created a Beauxbaton's dance troupe? I hated the way GOF used those characters just to expose how hormonal little Ronald Weasley becomes in his 4th year. Now we get to live the adolescent magic.
