It's from Filch's Emporium (next to the cash registers) and it was $6.95! Totally worth it. ;)

Thank you very much! Snape's a fav of mine, so I'll have to snag it. I never use keychains, but I find myself using them more and more nowadays for my house key since it always gets lost in my purse, haha. I think it'd be nice to have it attached to Snape...I love Alan Rickman ;)

I love the overweight conductor! I've seen videos of him and he has alot of energy.

He is a great character. This morning, my son pulled out the new wand he added to his collection and the conductor knew who's wand it was with just a glance. Very knowledgeable he is. He even went on to make conversation about what a great professor he was and how he remembered him as a first year on the Express. My 10 year old ate it up. Great interaction.

Hi everyone!
I've been lurking the boards for a couple of weeks now so I think it's about time for me to contribute. My friends and I checked out WWoHP last weekend along with the other package people and I have quite a few pictures to share! You can find all of the pictures @ my Flickr here.

I know many of you have already had the opportunity to experience the park yourselves, but if you have any questions, whether it be about the park or the merch I purchased, please don't hesitate to ask! :)

Wow... that is cute and clever. Do all of the conductors have a British accent? I wish more of the TM's did. Surprised that more brits didn't apply or get hired. Probably the former. Would a conductor get paid more than say a butterbeer salesperson? What is the dividing line on pay scale at Universal? I have been told that Universal performers are not union and are treated better financially than Disney's union performers? I know this was true in 2004. Still true?

Any Universal actors/performers on this forum?

I have conflicting reports here so can I get some clarification. Did it soft open for the GP when the park opened at 9 am and does anyone know how long it stayed open for the GP?

No problem! I'm also a huge Snape/Alan Rickman fan so I had to snatch it up as soon as I saw it. It'd be pretty awesome to reach into your purse and pull out...Snape!

I was kind of hoping it would look more like a ticket than a postcard, but it's still pretty neat nonetheless!

to those who wonder about flip flops I just sat on mine like you would on dragon challenge. I asked the TM cause I had heard somewhere that someone was given rubber bands. that is not true. i was told to sit on them or I could wear them and they shouldn't fall off....

They were giving out rubberbands during some of the softs. However I did ride with my flipflops on WITHOUT rubberbands and they stayed on fine. (I was a little cautious and held on tight to them with my toes)

The saftey video says that rubber bands will be provided. It may have been the sorting hat but it was said in the line. I guess that was not something Universal wanted to do in the end.

The rubber bands is such a waste of money though, they should just sit on them.

There hasn't been and probably won't be any confirmation on that but it seems likely as of right now.

I'm going tomorrow :)

I got rubber bands for my flip flops, and that worked perfectly. I hope they keep giving them out because it's more comfy than sitting on them - especially if I have chunkier backless shoes.
